章 16: Ceremony
"Lady Tia! So you're just here. I thought I lost you again. Ugh! Please, tell me if you're going elsewhere…"
The short-haired lady who was following the Count's daughter said in a helpless tone. She run towards her and observed the current situation.
It seems that Tia had actually hurried here to save them leaving her companion behind.
'Ugh. If you're going to protect her… You should always keep an eye on her…' Arial thought after seeing them. Anyway, it's not like he's doing his job either so he can't really complain.

As soon as they disappeared in their sight, the boys then heaved a sigh of relief!

"Haha… We can probably thank our seniors for this experience."
"Hmph! They're lucky that they didn't give us their names. They are being too careful. Should we report this to the faculty?"
"Of course, we can't let those ruffians get away freely from this!"

Finally, everyone turned their eyes to Arial. These guys don't know each other before they were gathered here but it seems that they have all become friends instantly after having that dreadful experience with the seniors.
Aside from that, they all have fantasies with the Count's daughter which instantly created a spirit of camaraderie between them.
"Ahh… Well, you're right. We have to report this to the faculty. I hope that they know something about this Game Changer!"
Arial decided to join their conversation. It was a bit awkward at first since he doesn't know how to befriend someone but luckily, these guys were talkative and he didn't have to think much of what to say and just answering their questions from time to time would be enough.
'Hmm~ This feeling… It's not bad…'
The young man had never experience having a friend similar to his age. He would always have to deal with adult people due to his circumstances.

They then started introducing themselves as they all decided to become friends and help each other within the Academy.

Arial couldn't help but smile as the recruitment of the evil seniors seems to have benefitted them a lot.
Now, these people who are at the bottom of the rankings can finally work together to have a better academic year.
'So this is an Academy… I like it.' Arial commented in his mind as he decided to just go with the flow.

Vince Klinger, the only successor of a prestigious Knight Family with affinity in Mystic Arts.
Severin Blaser and Norin Blaser, the twin brothers from a Baron Family who had recently become rich due to a silver mine found in their territory…
Ryan Moroff, the only successor from a fallen Margrave Family and a relative of one of the Instructors here in the Academy!
Max Zahner, the third son of the owner of the Phoenix Builder, a construction company that was said to be even capable of building Mystic Towers!

Time quickly passed and the Entrance Ceremony has finally started.
There, they met the Headmaster as he made a speech to welcome everyone…
"If you have the skills, you can graduate here within five years… You might need more if you can't pass our final requirements. However, you can always quit and try to finish your studies in another Academy."
These words from Ruslan stunned many of the new students. They didn't expect to hear such discouraging words in the ceremony.
However, the old man wasn't finished yet...
"…But since you are all accepted here, it means that you have the skills and talent! You just need to polish and learn more about them from your instructors.
"They may not help you achieve the pinnacle of the Mystic Arts but they are here to help you achieve the Master or even the Grandmaster Rank if you persevere…"
The headmaster continued his speech for a while followed by other faculty heads…
This lasted for a while until the class division of the students has finally started.
