章 53: Chapter 53 : Sinister plot

After hearing the words of the assassin, Ye Jingyi and the trio were stunned. What did he say? Cooperate with them against the Beast tide? What kind of joke is this? 

Ye Jingyi was unwilling to believe that they would cooperate peacefully. He believed that there must be some sort of conspiracy behind this. 

Otherwise, they would not come up with these words. But why would they need a conspiracy if they outnumbered us? This question is worth pondering.

Ye Jingyi narrowed his eyes and looked at the three assassins, remembering Hui Ying's words. They are injured in this movement, and their tough act is nothing more than a facade to deceive them. 

So the reason for cooperation should be that they want to preserve their own lives and seek protection from them, or, to be precise, seek protection from Hui Ying as they don't know about his capability.
