Prologue: Golden Island

Open are the Palace Gates. Made from Light Golden Metal and studded with Jewels, each half has the image of a being. From the left side, the Lord of this Palace and, representing the right side, his partner, his Lady.
Entering the Pavilion, also made with the same Metal, paved with tiles forged from the Jewels. Golden Columns rise and hold the Roof and the Banners, both inspired in Mythical Beings, some old as the World itself, others who have not yet been able to spread their fame across the Planet.
Across the Pavilion, the portrayed Beings gathered in front of the Throne of the Sovereigns. Among Them, Monsters, Beasts, Spirits, Inorganics, Humanoids, Heavenly and Obscure Beings, and…
Deities.
All kneeling, hailing the Sovereigns.
Finally, the ones who live and rule the Archipelago. Both sitting on the Light Golden Throne. The strange Lorde, more similar to inanimate Metal Statues than living beings.
He, the Aurum Sovereign, of Gold and Scarlet. She, the Argentum Sovereign, Silver and Cerulean.
In their chests, Scarlet and Cerulean Stones lie, whose glow overshadows all other riches of the place.
The shine increases, hiding the vision in a bright purple line…

Hello, I know, this prologue doesn't explain shit.
Actually, that's the idea!
Maybe it'll only make sense in the future (a bit far away, I confess)...
Anyway, if you haven't read the synopsis (go read it, ya lazy ass punk!), this story is about a weak lad living in a world divided between the normal and the veiled mythica side, quite like the Percy Jackson series, and have a "normal" life.
No parents and few true friends (some of them are "amigos da onça", which means backstabbers, motherfacas, sunavabitches, etc.), he has a "normal" work in a Shopping center in Brazil. Everything changes when he finds an artifact made by his parents, who "MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED" after an "ACCIDENT" in their workshop (of course something like such cliche would happen, but i like it.)
This is a mythology/fantasy novel (I mentioned Percy Jackson but it's not just about Greek Mythology, ok?), with a bit of adventure, some romance *throwing up rainbows*, a handful of action, the exaggerated touch of comedy I love so much, a few sprinkles of drama and tragedy, references and easter eggs (do young people nowadays still use easter eggs as an expression?).
