章 55: Classroom Announcements

After an hour-long discussion, Kaga was now heading back to class with Aizawa who was energized once Kaga regenerated his energy for him. In truth, Kaga respected Aizawa as a hero since he does all he can without the want for attention, so giving him the energy to not drop dead was a kind deed she didn't mind doing.

As they neared their class, both Aizawa and Kaga could hear the loud chatter between students, and both couldn't help but shake their heads since both have a liking for quietness.

*Clack*

When the doors of Class 1-A was opened, everyone's head turned towards their way which also stopped their chatter, "Alright, everyone, take your seats, I'm here to give your evaluation of your performance from yesterday"

Everyone couldn't help but listen since it was regarding their skills after all, "First things first, I want to say something, in general, that should be taught to every aspiring hero. But I'll ask first, is killing a villain wrong?"

Not surprisingly a lot of people raised their hands, except for the Royals, Momo, and Inasa, what caught Aizawa's attention was on Momo and Inasa since he only expected the Royal's to think it was fine.

"Alright, you five, care to share your insight on the question", Aizawa said to which Kaga went first.

"I will be real with all of you, I've already killed villains as training before, and to add detail those were mass murderers. My stand on the matter is that once a villain kills more than one innocent person, then once you kill that person, there will be one less killer on the street"

Everyone who heard this was wide-eyed...well except for some, "But isn't that wrong? You can't take justice into your own hands like that!", the one who spoke was none other than Midoriya who had the Hero Syndrome.

"Naive. Tell me, who's your idol?", Kaga asked with a smug expression daring him to say it like a trap.

"Huh? All Might, of course", Midoriya answered with a hint of confusion.

"All Might? Well...sad to say but he has killed before...so what now? Will you arrest the Symbol of Peace? Listen here, the Heroes you idolize have all killed once or are bound to kill, well at least those who are still standing.", what Kaga said was like a train wreck for the green-haired kid.

'If you break after hearing this I will remove 'One For All' from you without you even knowing it', Kaga thought dangerously to which caused a stinging pain within his brain once again that he was very close to danger.

But this also stunned many students within the class and looked to Aizawa for answers, "It's true, I'll be real, even I have killed. So if you think the Hero life is all fine and simple saving then it's not too late to choose another profession as your future."

"U.A. will give you the dose of reality that other schools don't, but once you step out within these walls, you will at least know what will hit you", Aizawa continued and remembered how his friend Shirakumo died...that was his dose of reality.

Soon it was another student's turn to share and that student was Momo, "A good villain is someone that will never come back, and that's a dead one", Momo said casually, due to her standing in society she has been in some unfavorable situations with villains...hence her weapon of choice being guns.

Inasa's opinion was a rather unique one, "I believe that all Heroes should be passionate in their line of work! And to truly be passionate in this kind of work, one mustn't strive for fame and fortune, but one that doesn't mind the consequence in order to save someone...even if I needed to take life."

Himiko's was expected, "A dead villain is a good villain~ And I have also killed along with Kaga"

Shoto's was...Shoto, "I don't really care whether a villain lives or dies. And to be honest, I have killed too, the Wendigo to be exact"

Everyone was stunned, especially at Shoto's line, 'Did he say the Wendigo? The one who hunts people in rural towns and parks!?'

"I don't know what it feels like to kill...but...that line was manly!", Kirishima said as he looked towards Shoto with a thumbs up.

"Alright, alright, Settle down! If you were to ask me if killing a villain is wrong...then I want you to say "Killing a villain is wrong" to a family who has lost a loved one due to villains.

If you can say it without a stutter, then okay, but if you can't say it, then that means the thought of it isn't really wrong, is it?", what Aizawa said had some points to it, but it was rather extreme.

Then he began telling everyone's mistake during the villain practice yesterday, it was mainly how hesitant they were and some of them wrongly judging the strength of some villains, hence some of them got slight injuries.

And finally the main event, "For my final announcement, U.A.'s Sports Festival is approaching within two weeks"

"..."

"""SPORTS FESTIVAL!?"""", a lot of students exclaimed probably excited about it but also for another reason, "Yes, the sports festival, and like every Sports Festival, the school will select 18 Participants for the International Heroes Academy Tournament. Only Six participants for each level, but this can be changed when a student requests a battle in where the selected participant has to protect their spot from other students"

"But before we reach that International Stage like before, U.A. must dominate against the Hero schools of Japan first, but luckily we are seeded, meaning we don't have to start from the bottom.", Aizawa explained.

This time Kaga was listening attentively since this has never happened in the anime, but she has watched the International Heroes Academy Tournament before and even researched about it, but that has already been some years ago!

"Aizawa-Sensei, can any student just request a challenge to another? Wouldn't that be annoying if weak ones keep challenging?", someone asked.

"The school will review the challenge, and if the one issuing the challenge is bellow the challenged person's skill level or grade, then the school will not allow the challenge to continue. The school took inspiration from the Totsuki Culinary Academy with their Shokugeki, instead U.A. does it in a battle trial and not by Food." the moment Aizawa said this Kaga's ears perked up.

'Never knew that school existed in this Universe too!', Kaga thought to herself...and considering her Grandfather is the living copy of Senzaemon then maybe it was possible but she never really thought of it.

"But let's focus more on the Sports Festival first, as this is one of Japan's biggest events considering we are the only Hero School that hosts such type of event. By the way, this isn't mentioned on television but the winner gets to take home a prize money of $10,000.

And if you're lucky, Heroes might send in offers to let you study under them during Internship, I'm saying this to show you the importance of the Sports Festival since a lot of these things can help you in your path as a Professional Hero.

This is a chance you'll only get once a year, and for a total for three chances. If you aim to be a Hero, this is an event you can't overlook. So train hard during this two weeks, and listen to your President's advice since they were 100% correct."

After the final announcement, Aizawa left to let the next teacher teach the class, to which Kaga just zoned out in. Whenever they ask her a question she just asks to repeat the question and answer immediately after hearing it.

When Lunch Break started, everyone began grouping and started talking about the Sports festival, everyone was shouting to release their excitement, however, something was different.

Kaga was different. She didn't have a frown on her face anymore when people are talking so loud, nope, she had a neutral expression.

She now had a noise modulator regulating the sounds that she can hear, she can still hear everything perfectly fine, the modulator will only work when a sound reaches a certain frequency or volume will the modulator numb the sensation. In short, Kaga won't be in pain when someone decides to scream in her ears, instead she'll hear the scream but at a different volume.

With it being lunch, the trio went out of class and headed towards Lunch Rush's cafeteria but happened to bump into another trio, Uraraka, Iida, and Midoriya to be exact.

The three were talking about their reasons for being a Hero and Uraraka's just happened to be for money and she seems to be ashamed that the other's reason were more "righteous".

"It is perfectly fine, don't be ashamed, at least you don't lie with some bullsh*t lies of being a Hero for justice and will sacrifice your life in the face of evil."

Someone's voice interrupted them and when they looked to find the owner, they saw another trio, but the speaker of the voice was Kaga.

"It isn't shameful?", Uraraka asked if a slightly better mood.

"Of course it isn't, I bet once the Hero Association stop paying Heroes that claim to be only Heroes for Justice, those very Heroes will come up with an excuse that money is something needed", Kaga said.

"I see, what an excellent example from the President, but do cut down on the vulgar language", Iida said in a posture of pondering.

However, just like in the manga, All Might popped up and startled the Midoriya and Iida, then All Might proceeds to talk to Midoriya if he would like to eat lunch together...though the scene was quite comical in how All Might holds a bento.

"Sure, I'd like to eat in the next chapter"

"I said now"

"Next chapter it is!"
