Listening to him as he talked, one may think I was going on a suicide mission, not knowing that I was only going with the father of my child.
"I would rather not see you getting hurt, Fern." He placed his hand on my head, "you deserve so much more than this. Stay with me, and we will leave this place. We will go to a place where no one knows us, and then start anew."
"I don't think so." Mar removed me from Kel's embrace. "Your goodbye is enough."
"Wait!" I tried to stop him as he tugged me towards the door, but he didn't stop.
"Osy?" Kel ran out of the kitchen, but he didn't get to reach me.
Three men in black, who were not there when we entered the kitchen, blocked his path.
"What are you doing?"
"What does it seem like I'm doing?" Mar dragged me out and put me into his car.
He locked the door before heading to his side.
"I didn't get to pack my clothes."
"You don't need them. I will have new sets of clothes brought."
