The mailman, carrying the latest issue of the magazine, rang the doorbell and while waiting, looked up and squinted his eyes dazzled by the sun.
Wave after wave broke on the shore, and groups of young people emerged from the coconut grove, carrying their surfboards, stepping on the soft, fine white sand, their laughter and chatter incessant, as the shadows of trees interlaced, casting beautiful patterns on the delicate white skin of the girls, and together with the seagulls' cries, composed a beautiful midday scene.
This is Hawaii, where there are only two seasons each year, summer and winter.
It was the beginning of May, and the bustling summer had already begun. Travelers from all around the globe gathered here to enjoy the unique beauty of Hawaii.
