章 30: Chapter 31 - Earth's Origin (1)

Nigo turned back hastily to see a human figure, floating in a seating position behind him.

The human has a bald head without hair and long, thick white brows and beard. The person has an old face with wrinkles on it.

The figure is dressed in a white and yellow robe. The elderly man has black coloured eyes and a yin and yang symbol on his forehead with three dots on his head signifying that he is a monk. He also has dark brown big garland beads round his neck.

The face of this elderly man has an ancient bearing to it. He has a smile on his face that radiated no malice or sinister intent.

"!!!!"

Nigo knitted his brows as he tried to sense the aura of the old man, but he couldn't feel any life aura radiating from him. The spiritual energy of the being is pure without any form of stain from this world.

Just looking at him, one could feel an eternal peace overwhelm their hearts.

"Wh....who are you?" Nigo asked. although he had his usual calm gaze, he couldn't stop his voice from stuttering.

"I am you and you are me" the old man said with a calm voice that reverberated across the space.

Nigo: "Huh"

"My name is Ning feng and I am a part of you" The old man said.

Nigo was about to speak when he noticed that he could sense a familiar aura, an aura which emanated extreme rage. One that he had actually felt before. It is the aura of the being that tried to take control over his body and kill granny chi (Author: I would be using granny chi when it comes to nigo)

However, the aura was close but not from the old man before him

"How are we the same and why can I still feel that intruder's aura around? Why are you even within my body?" nigo bombarded the old man with question after question

"Sigh..." Ning feng sighed and said to nigo "I will tell you all you need to know for now, but you might want to sit"

"!!!" Nigo raised an eyebrow as he looked at the old man.

He said I should sit but there are no seats here so where do I sit?....

"I know there are no seats here but this world is controlled by you and anything you want to do can happen in here. if you want to hover like myself you can make that happen as well" Ning feng said

Nigo looked at him and willed himself to float and to his surprised he began to levitate just like the old man.

"This is nice", he smiled to himself but there was no atom of joy on his face.

"Now I will answer any of your questions" Ning feng said with a slight smile on his face

"Where am I, am I dead?" nigo asked the same question again.

Ning feng:"No, where we are right now, is a part of your consciousness that exist inside your Liaison core"

Nigo: "my Liaison core?"

Ning feng:" you shouldn't be too surprised, that girl told you that your Liaison core is special right?"

Nigo: "Wait....How do you know? Don't tell me you've been inside of me all this while"

"Heh..." Ning feng said "I have always been with you since the day you were born, but this is our first time meeting"

"Since the day I was born.... then why are you showing up now all of a sudden?" Nigo asked, he had not seen the old man before him before not even in his strange dreams, yet this old man claims to have been with him from the day he was born? How ridiculous is that. He had not even felt the presence of the old man when he awakened his liaison core but, he is just seeing him for the first time.

Ning feng: "it is because due to some circumstances your liaison core got affected and affected our connection. So I couldn't communicate with you till now after I managed to use the aura from the Purifying flames of the star meteorite to rouse it from it's slumber"

Nigo furrowed his brows as he tried to recall what had happened before now, he remembered how his sensory abilities manifested on the day of the 'Fall Of Star Meteorites' and how he could suddenly awaken his core without the use of the Purifying flames Ejiro left behind for him.

"You used the aura from the flames to awaken my liaison core" nigo said with knitted brows.

"Yes" Ning Feng said with a smile on his face, he had not stopped smiling since he showed up.

"So, why did you make me fuse with the flames the moment my liaison core awakened? Since it was already awakened then there was obviously no need for that right?" Nigo asked the question he didn't still understand. In fact, everyone who saw what happened there couldn't explain the event, how could a person fuse with the purest flames that exist in this world and not get burnt to death? That was beyond logic even the most powerful of them would still be burnt to death. How much more this kid whose user strength was at the bottom of the barrel.

"That is a something I Knew you would ask about and I would like to explain it to you but pay attention" (Author: please pay close attention to what is about to be said)

"What specie do you think you are?" Ning feng suddenly asked a question.

"I'm a human of course" nigo responded. Was this man trying to joke around? What sort of question is this? Can't he see that he was a human?

"What if I told you that you are not a pure human?" Ning feng said

"How is that possible?" Nigo asked in confusion. What the hell was this man saying

"This world we live in right now is located in the middle of the first gate" Ning feng said

"Isn't earth and the universe the first gate?" nigo asked

"We are indeed in the first gate but not the gate that you know about" Ning feng said

"Long ago millions of years ago, our planet earth, one of the numerous parallel earths in the boundless multi verse, existed in a normal universe"

"Normal? I don't understand" nigo said

"Then shut up and listen" the old man had grown tired of nigo's interruptions

Nigo closed his mouth and didn't say anything anymore, because he wanted to know where all this stuffs happening were coming from.

"Just like other planets ours orbited peacefully round a sun in a solar system, in a galaxy and in a universe. Unfortunately, for the planet at that time, there was a battle, a battle between celestial entities. A fight that destroyed the universe we lived in along with our solar system and the neighbouring planets.

But when the battle between the celestial entities drew near our planet, one of the celestial beings who was in battle decided to save one planet out of pity from the destruction. And that planet turned out to be our earth."

"At that time the battle was incredibly fierce but, with difficulties the celestial being still managed to save the earth but accidentally sent it to the ethereal realm of existence. A plane where spirits and celestial entities dwelled was the plane we arrived in. Luckily, it was the Requim gate's plane of existence"

"Upon arrival on this plane, the planet had already lost it's life forms as only ten million people and beasts managed to survive the onslaught of the celestial entities"
