章 75: Preferences – III

It was a small bottle of vodka that she kept in her office, hidden away from everything else. But before that, she had to prepare the basic cup of coffee, and at that moment, Grace decided that she was going to do it herself instead of asking the cafeteria to send one upstairs.

Walking out of her office with her cup, Grace made sure to not make eye contact with anyone and just head towards the executive kitchen. There, she started on the coffee machine and waited patiently as it got to work.

Grace looked into random areas before remembering that there was a spot where they kept the snacks for executives. Remembering that, she moved into the pantry, a small room attached to the big cafeteria.

Pretzels or cookies? She frowned. Pretzels for a little on the salty side, maybe she should take that instead of the sweet cookies.

"Did you hear?"

Her frown deepened. Again?
