Nanyang gave me a miserable smile. "Nanxing, remember you promised me that you'd take good care of my child..."

I said calmly, "I didn't give such a promise. You're a mother now, and you have to be responsible for your own child! You need to take care of her yourself!"

Nanyang smiled bitterly. "I can't even take care of myself, so how am I supposed to take care of her? Nanxing, I beg you. I'll give her to you. She is your blood relatives."
