Tears fell from my eyes. I knew how unreasonable I was, but Jing Ni was being unreasonable too.

Jing Ni stood up to hug me. "Nanxing, no, it's not like that. I can't implicate you and Sky City! I'd rather die than see you get hurt by them! Nanxing, you're my best friend. I can't let you get injured because of me!"

Jing Ni hugged me and started crying.

I hugged her and patted her back. "Are you dumb? Do you think I'll stand and watch as you hurt yourself? Why are you so stupid?"
