Third-person pov
A big figure was running swiftly inside the cursed forest of Azazel, this forest was known throughout the continent as the most deadly place, especially the inner part of this forest, many deadly creatures reside here, but this figure was running here as if this place was a garden.
Smaller and weaker monsters didn't dare to block this person's way, their instinct told them that they would instantly die if they block this individual's path, they were hiding to save their lives however, this figure was not here to take their lives.
It stopped at one place and took a long breath and said. "Master is amazing, how did they find his village, he didn't even have a sharp nose like Orcs, I wanted him to give me more work but he ordered me to return to the cave, I don't want to go to that place right now, but I have to do it as it was his order."
This mysterious figure was none other than Shear, she was returning to her cave since it was her master's order and she had to comply. She didn't want to return as the male orc might kill her when they see her. Her face had grim look.
She stared at her right hand carefully for a while and sighed then she clenched her fist and mumbled, " When I was with him, I felt so strong and valorous but now when I'm alone I feel scared, I'm turning to my old self weak and helpless."
Shear was thinking when she killed the night saber wolf without much effort, she killed him with ease, she clenched her fist more tightly, she wanted to feel those emotions again for the rest of her life.
Without realizing she released her murderous aura out which made even the strong monsters shivered down to the bone. Their instinct told them that messing with her means death, they didn't dare to come close to her as for the animals they froze where they were standing.
She didn't know how many monsters and animals were frightened just because of her presence. Unbeknownst to her deed, she started running towards her cave again.
In this forest, one can easily be lost but Shear was using her nose and pinpointed the location of her cave. She reached her cave in mere minutes, she stood outside of her cave and didn't go inside as she was still afraid to face those male orcs.
After standing there and looking at the cave for a while, she started to walk forward to the cave, however, she was still hesitating and only took small steps, she wanted to avoid the male orcs as long as possible.
No matter how small steps she took it would only move her forward not backward. Even if she managed to get away from them, but she would have to face them one day.
Thinking this, she didn't notice that she was already in the throne room(throne cave). This room was already a mess, the room was filled with the fouled smell but this small didn't bother shear even a bit, she didn't react even a little as if there was no stench in the room in the first place.
wherever her eyes went, she only saw limbs of orcs, bodies that were missing limbs, and bodies burned to crisp. But glared at those dead bodies coldly, she didn't have any emotional ties with them. her eyes were looking for something else.
She started to look around since when she went from here she didn't check this place thoroughly, the spoils that noble orc collected throughout his life was also stored in this room, from a human's perspective, those spoils were nothing but garbage, the skull of humans and monsters, rusty swords, and other useless things.
In the pile of that garbage, a necklace made with three teeth attracted her attention, it was nothing special but her eyes glittered when she looked at the necklace. That pile of spoils(garbage) was completely covered in orc's blood even then Shear grabbed that necklace without any hesitation.
After taking the necklace she didn't wear it rather she stared at it for a while then she remembered something and decided to wear it. When she was wearing the necklace her eyes fell on the noble orc's headless body.
She got close to his body and mumbled. "My father was the leader of our tribe, he was not the strongest and that is why our territory was smallest compared to other tribes, he always feared that other tribe leaders will snatch his tribe from him that's why he choose this cave to protect his tribe from them."
Shear didn't stop talking and continued, "For us, eating is our top priority and my father was not a good hunter, we often got short on food but we were somehow managed to live than one day you appeared out of nowhere and killed him and announced that you were going to be our new, I didn't feel bad when you killed my father, for me he was just another male orc, the only bond I had was with my little sister."
Shear's long hair had covered her face, it was hard to tell if was crying or not but her voice was unwavering and cold, she further continued. "I thought since you were strong, you would protect us, we could eat more food, but instead of getting more food, it reduced day by day. You never go outside to hunt and because of that our territory reduced
significantly."
"You took us hostage and stopped giving us food completely and many died from starvation. When some orcs couldn't that they decided to go for a hunt, me and my little sister also joined the group, but Unbeknownst how much our territory had reduced we entered night saber wolves territory and they killed her eating alive, I saw her dying and couldn't do anything, the last thing she said was."
Shear stopped for a moment the continued, "Sister please save me..., I... I do...don't want to die. I'm...I'm an orc and I did exactly what an orc will do, I...ra..ran away from there, I lived my sister behind and ran away like a coward." Shear couldn't say it as coldly as before her voice trembled, two drops of tears fell on the ground, it showed how she loved her sister.
