Ye Jiu regained her senses first.

She shook her head and smiled at Chu Mo, "You're back!"

Chu Mo was stunned for a moment and nodded, "Yes, I'm back!"

"Why aren't you asleep?" Chu Mo asked with concern.

Ye Jiu smiled even more, "I was waiting for you..."

This sentence made Chu Mo feel warm in his heart.

He took two steps forward and asked, "Why were you waiting for me?"

Ye Jiu could not seem to remember why she was waiting for Chu Mo.

She scratched her head and responded with an "ah". Then, she turned around and handed the two mandarin ducks on the table to Chu Mo.

"Have a taste!" Ye Jiu said with anticipation.

Chu Mo frowned as he looked at the two mandarin ducks. There did not seem to be anything special about them.

"Did you make them?" Chu Mo asked tentatively.

"Yes!" Ye Jiu nodded her head heavily. "Although Nanny Li helped a lot..."

Under Chu Mo's gaze, Ye Jiu decided to tell him the truth.
