章 11: Chapter 11
[December 14th, 2008, 3 months until Tony Stark is Kidnapped]
Four days passed as I continued to get more players, add more NPCs and gather more mana.
I was even nearing Tier 3, which only continued to show that I had a high talent for Tier Magic.
Other than that, I have been studying Runecraft and have made some progress on it, but enough on that boring topic, I have been running low on money.
For a while, I have just been hunting down some small and large game around my land and then selling most of the meat and hide to the butcher in town for some cash, but I stopped hunting lately in order to not damage the ecosystem that my land occupies.
Speaking of which, my land covered 15 square miles and I managed to get this land for a somewhat cheap price since it was in the middle of nowhere outside a town in the middle of nowhere.
Since I did not want to do a normal job, I could only think of one thing that would allow me to both earn lots of money in a short amount of time, and help me in gaining combat experience, and that is underground fighting rings.
Don't get me wrong, if I do this, then I will make sure to carve an enchanted wooden mask that can hide my identity and give me several buffs like minor regeneration, increased stamina, tougher skin, and so on.
Although I may or may not actually go, I started carving the masks which I based on the Dragon Priest's Masks from Elder Scrolls.
I even went briefly to town to buy a thick cloak that could both hide most of my features and allow me to fight freely without getting in the way.

Two more days passed before I finished enchanting the mask and cloak with a multitude of runes etched into them, the runes on the mask were located behind the mask to prevent others from seeing with the same being done to the cloak where the runes are hidden within places that will prevent others from seeing them.
Other than that the game has only continued to progress at a rapid pace.
There were 89 players now and 580 NPCs which allowed me to have 10 servers open!
Although before I save up I want to make sure there are enough NPCs to make sure that all of these servers will be completely full.
Other than that, I have been keeping up with the news of the world and have even started filling out a journal to help me remember everything I have seen within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the X-Men Cinematic Universe.
And after compiling all of that information up, I only had one thought on my mind, I am fucked.
Omega-Level Mutants, The Infinity Stones, Thanos, Cosmic Beings, The Celestials, The Eternals, The 10 Rings, Ta Lo, Soul Eaters, and more.
Unluckily for me, I didn't even know all of the dangers of the Marvel and X-Men universe, but I knew enough to avoid many of the fatal dangers of the world and beyond.
This is one of the reasons why I was so occupied with increasing my strength and skill set, which is why my first thought on gaining money was an underground fighting ring which would both give me a handsome sum of money and the very needed Combat Experience.
Sure, I have a chance to die for my future actions, but that is why I am taking precautions, such as my mask and robe which were enchanted with runes.

Two more days passed before I hit Tier-3 and learned a few more runes.
Other than that, I have used the System Points in buying more NPCs for the servers, on the other hand, we have had 9 players win a match so far which was surprising seeing as dozens if not over a hundred matches have been played so far.
I even thought of lowering the difficulty for the players, but I refused after thinking about it.
If it was so easy, what would stop the players from literally becoming immortal due to the golden apples.
