章 177: Protect The People! (Part Two)

Emilia began to think of a way of how to inject the Pure Elemental Mana Energy into Sam. She knew that the process to extract the energy from the surroundings would take up a lot of time, and thus needed to do it quickly.

Sam was coughing more, and she understood the situation was dire for her. Her frantic thinking lead to her remembering the fact that there was a crystal in her Staff that she was holding in her hands. 

"Would this work? I hope it does", she thought as she began to direct the Mana in her body into the Staff, and slowly stimulated the Crystal that was embedded in the Staff. It began to glow with a white hue, and her skin had traces of white lines on it. 

She placed her palm on Sam's back and began to redirect the Mana that was going haywire in his body. Her eyebrows were scrunched up and she was trying her best to make it work when she felt something happen within his body.
