He pretty much heard everything and understood the plan Ryley was trying to draw. 

And though Tristan didn't want to fuck it up, he sure as hell wouldn't skip the opportunity to sabotage it.

He thought he could destroy the Gate of Zebani just by blowing it up and offered a better deal for the strong entity inside by helping him cross to the Mortal Realm without having to wait for Ryley. 

But of course things seemed easier than actually done.

"Has it been two minutes yet? Where the fuck is that blond?" Tristan clicked his tongue in annoyance as he glanced at his watch. 

Before he could further complain about the situation, a guard rushed towards him and offered him a still connected call. 

"Sir, Madam Gilbert wishes to speak to you."
