Blair shifted his gaze following Gloria's line of sight.

Gloria was talking as if Clyde would really inherit the Supreme Power. Did she forget about the fetus she moved into the young Omega Clyde reckoned as his mate?

What if that baby came out as a male pureblood Alpha? Clyde wouldn't be able to naturally inherit the Supreme Power because he would be welcoming a little brother then. 

Since the matter hadn't been officially declared, Blair pretended to be oblivious and asked, "The new rule of the ascension... It was said that the legitimate heir should have his own heir first before he could be enthroned."

"Don't worry about it. Young Master Clyde will announce the pregnancy of his mate in a short time." Gloria replied. 

"I see..." Blair slowly nodded understandingly in return. "Then, I shall go back to the headquarters to start the preparation."
