Once Sean entered, Ryley peeked out and looked left and right, as if trying to make sure that no one else was there before closing the door.

Silly, he must say, for what he had just done must have been recorded by the CCTV cameras in the corridor. But Ryley was pretty confident that nobody was going after him in the moment. 

His sister was in jail, Gracia had been tamed, and Marsha had been kicked out of Hyacinthia. 

Gloria's name suddenly came up to mind, but the blond just shrugged it away. He was sure that the old woman wouldn't be so willing to attack him using the same trick Gracia did before, much less when Sean was involved in it. 

The old woman must have thought that Ryley wouldn't hesitate to throw both of her granddaughters under the bus if she dared to mess with him.
