"There must be something I've missed." His brows were pulled together. He hadn't had any rest since bringing her inside his space.

She only had a stab wound and nothing else. But for some reason she's not waking up even after giving her pills round the clock.

Her breathing was shallow and her heartbeat was slow.

With closed eyes, he had cleaned her and changed her clothes. He covered her chest as he dressed her wound.

"Jia, wake up. Please—" He spoke to her, holding her hand. He kissed her forehead.

"What did I miss?... Why aren't you waking up?"

He was well-versed with medicine but at this moment, he was at a loss. He was engulfed in worry, making it harder for him to think clearly.

Each time he would try to research, his thoughts would go to her. He couldn't stay away from her side even a second longer. He wanted to be there when she woke up and he wanted to be there so he could find signs as to why she's not waking up.
