章 47: Empyriah

In the depths of the lush forestland, the warm sunrays inflamed his singed flesh as he groaned in pain. Slowly, his body regenerated as time progressed. He lifted his hand, carefully, noticing the bones that peaked through his flesh had begun to heal over with new skin. His body had a ways to go but progress was showing.

The regeneration of his body after such injuries was a pain that was very unfamiliar to him. What kind of person was he to have to endure this?

A couple days ago, the slightest movement ignited an excruciating pain throughout his body. Each day that passed, the pain lessened. Orion didn't know what he had done to suffer so gruesomely, but someone hated him enough to kill him. Whoever did this to him would pay miserably. He promised himself.

Faces flashed through his mind, but none were familiar. Voices spoke to him, sometimes many at once. They must be people he knew somehow, maybe in a past life or simply forgotten along his journey.
