章 11: Chapter-11: What was going on in Konoha? (Part-III, Last)
Now Itachi had only one thing in his mind...
To eliminate the Uchiha clan.
He knew that if the coup was initiated then the Konoha will fall, no matter what.
If the Uchiha clan succeeds, they will be left to deal with a village with a lot of resistance and enemies who will attack, given the chance.
If they fail, then Konoha will lack the personnel to counter the enemy forces and they will be forced in a long lasting war which will lead to their eventual demise.
Both the options would plunge the world into war yet again, an outcome he wants to avoid at all costs.
He was walking quietly when he suddenly detected someone.
He quickly threw a kunai and had his tanto ready as someone being able to avoid his keen senses is extremely dangerous.
"Well...What do we have here? A lone boy who is planning to murder the entire Uchiha clan?" The mysterious orange masked man said.
"Who are you and what is your purpose?" Itachi asked cautiously as his eyes rotated menacingly to become the mangekyo sharingan.
Itachi was prepared to end orange masked man's life regardless of the answers as he deemed him a threat that may lead to unknown harm in the future.
"My purpose is nothing but to create a truly happy world. A world where no one suffers....No children that need to be sent to their deaths in war times...To achieve an eternal dream-" Orange masked man said as a Kunai phased through his head.
"That was quite rude of you, Uchiha." Orange masked man said as he looked towards Itachi preparing for a fight.
"Don't try to fight me. It will always end up in a failure, boy. I am Uchiha Madara, the legendary shinobi with no equal other than Senju Hashirama." Masked man said.
Itachi was quite flabbergasted by the response but he was still calm enough.
He clearly knew that the opponent's skill level was far too high or he had some unique powers as he clearly saw his kunai phase through the man.
This meant two things.
Either the person was moving too fast that he couldn't even perceive his movements even with mangekyo sharingan or he had some special ability that allowed him to not be affected by any attacks.
Itachi was sure that it was most probably the latter as being able to avoid sharingan's visual prowess is nearly impossible.
"I will not ask again, what is your purpose and true name. Answer me truthfully." Itachi said.
"I did not lie to you. There is no need for me to lie to the likes of you as I could kill you this instant without you being able to pose any resistance at all. If I wanted to harm you, then I'd probably be done by now." The masked man said as he sat down on a step on a stairway near a small ruined building near the outskirts of Konoha.
"Now tell me...What will you do, now that I know of this little plan of yours?" Masked man asked.
Itachi didn't respond.
"Then how about this...I will assist you in your little slaughter party but you will be helping me back by joining the organization, Akatsuki. An organization with the purpose to create peace in this warn torn world." Masked man said.
Itachi quietly thought for a bit and then responded, "Fine, I will accept your proposal."
Itachi was a man of few words.
All he could do right now was simply accept the deal. He had no way out of this and he was held by neck because of the current situation.
Akatsuki was an unstable aspect which may become a reason for starting a war, consider how much power it held in eyes of other villages.
Any mission given to this organization made of rogue ninjas is completed with almost no failures.
He was thinking of joining the organization in order to pressure other villages as well as Konoha for sake of his little brother, Uchiha Sasuke.
He may have lost a lot and will probably lose even more in future considering the path he chose but he cannot let his brother die like this.

And so, the river of blood started to flow.
The assassination of every possible Uchiha in Konoha begun.
The duo did their best to kill everyone from the Uchiha clan.
They didn't spare children nor men nor women.
Itachi covered the clan compound while the masked man covered other regions in the village.
They didn't worry about any alive Uchihas except Itachi's brother after the slaughter.
They knew the village elders will not entertain such unstable factors and hence, they will be eliminated and even if they were kept alive for some reason, they just needed to schedule a small trip back to Konoha.
The populace of Konoha was mostly unaware of this mass assassination as all the Uchihas were killed as silently as possible and no one cared if suddenly a person disappeared from their sight.
It was a common thing for the civilians to see as ninjas appear and disappear time to time.
Ninjas were really strong people that can do anything.
That is what most civilians thought.
One by one, all Uchihas were hunted by 2 people, leaving no one alive on their trail.
As Itachi moved while killing his clan members left and right, he saw his father flickering in front of him.
"What is the meaning behind this slaughter, Itachi?!" Fugaku asked as he activate his mangekyo sharingan.
"This is the meaning, Father." Itachi said as he activated his own mangekyo.
"...Is that so..." Fugaku said as his voice sounded a bit hoarse.
Suddenly he exploded into white smoke.
'A shadow clone!' Itachi thought as he quickly flickered towards his house.
He was still had plenty of chakra and he thought that he at best will lose a limb or two in fight against his father.
'He is the trickiest enemy by far, I cannot afford to hold back at all.' He thought as he sneaked around the house.
"Come inside Itachi, there are no traps." Fugaku said out loud as he noticed Itachi.
Itachi arrived inside the room to discover that his parents were wearing formal clothes that they wore on important events.
"I predicted that something like this would happen but still...I don't want to engage in a life or death battle against my own son...I still regret not being a good father to you as well as Sasuke...I hope you can forgive me..."
"Promise me this Itachi, you will take care of your brother, no matter what." Fugaku said.
As Fugaku said every word, Itachi broke down and started crying even after trying his best not to.
"Don't cry now, Itachi. You are a truly kind child. I am proud of you. Do not break down now...remember...what I taught you...Never leave something incomplete and s-see everything to it's end..." Fugaku said as tears ran down his cheeks.
Itachi finally calmed himself and with a single slice, he claimed his father's life and with another, he claimed his mother's.
He was sad...
Filled with misery...
'Perhaps this is destiny...Something that doesn't stop no matter what...when you realize you are powerless, no matter the situation...It arrives to everyone, all the same...' He tried to delude himself but he knew.
That isn't true.
All that was left behind after the slaughter was misery and regret...
Itachi still didn't know if it was the correct decision to do all this.
He constantly questioned all of his choices but he couldn't answer at all.
Was it correct to choose the village? Was it necessary to murder his own parents? Was it necessary for him to cause so much pain on himself as well as his brother?
He couldn't answer at all.
All he knew was...his father's teachings.
Never leave something incomplete and see everything to it's end...
And that was what he was going to do.
He will see this through the end.
It doesn't matter now.
The choices are already made. Their is no point in considering them now.
He silently left the village along with the masked man because of masked man's special ability.
That day a terrifying massacre happened and nearly no one even knew how...
All they knew was one thing.
Uchiha Clan leader's eldest child murdered everyone in the Uchiha clan and became a nuke-nin.
