Rayan finally accepted the idea of spending his entire life with Jasmine. He started to convince himself that Jasmine had some good qualities to like her.
Badly for him, Jasmine grew to be a shallower, more selfish, hateful, unbearable, and awful person than she ever was. What made it worse, being alone with her in this large house, after his mother had left.
Three years ago, on the same day they visited Janet, Melody told Rayan that she would like to live alone and resume her work as an art teacher. She told him that she would be more comfortable living on her own. Rayan bought his mom’s reason and did not want to push more on her.
He envied his mother, though, because she did not have to face Jasmine every day.
