章 44: Chapter 44: The First Quarrel

Jasmine could not sleep after the conversation she had with Lily. It was hard for her to see how her best friend thought about her.

What was harder, though, hearing concerns Jasmine tried to avoid from someone else. She kept thinking how come Rayan loved her that fast.

Jasmine recalled how Rayan acted with Sue. Everything in him spoke love and passion. It took him a while to express his feelings to Sue. Rayan had to tell Sue how he felt because he was afraid that she would not meet him again.

Then Jasmine came out with a conclusion after analyzing Rayan and Sue’s situation. She believed that Rayan had fun with Sue, and in order not to lose this fun, Rayan confessed his feelings to Sue. They were not real feelings.

She convinced herself with this thought to sleep.

In the morning, Jasmine woke up on Rayan’s call. “Hi,” she answered with a sleepy voice that could barely be heard.
