章 12: Chapter 12
In the six months Julians been in rehab, all us supernatural are in training. "Freckles" and I have become closer, as friends. Julian is supposed to come back tomorrow. But knowing Jewels he'll probably find someway to get sent back again.
Mandy hasn't been the same since we've gotten here. She seems drained, just not the same. Jackson and Myles seem to hate each other for some odd reason... I don't know why though. They seemed to get along so nicely before.
*Montage of flashbacks from several different times*
"Sup pot head!" Jackson said to Myles
"Sup weedy."
"Hey I hope your hangover clears up soon."
*End of montage*
... Okay. Maybe they weren't best friends
But they didn't look like they wanted to rip each other to shreds. Myles looked like he wanted to punch Jackson. I walked into the room and they both smiled at me then whipped their heads at each other and gave each other dirty looks.
"Whatever this is about needs to stop! I can't have my two best friends fighting now can I?" I say
They both smiled at me. I walked off and started training. Every once in a while is see them attacking each other their excuse was "We're sparing" like I'd believe that.
"One of y'all spar me." I say challenging them both
"Come on, spar me you big babies." I teased
Jackson ran at me. He threw a punch I caught it and flipped him over on his back. Myles took his turn. He ran at me and tried to take me down. I sweeped his legs from under him and he was flat on his back with me hovering over him. I had my elbow on his chest and my knees planted on the mat beside his body. He huffed and smiled.
"Got you, princess." He smiled
Just then he flipped us over. We flipped positions. Jackson just sat there. Then I used a tactic to win this. I kissed him, a quick peck nothing special, but it was enough to take him bye surprise. Then I flipped him over and pinned him. I then stood up and turned to Jackson.
"That's how you spaaarrr." I said as my feet where taken from under me
"Sorry princess it's all tied up." Said Myles and he held me by my feet
"Haha very funny now let me down." I say
"Fat chance." Myles says
I curl up to his arm and bit him. He dropped me. While I was down on the ground I took an opportunity and I snapped his leg making him fall.
"Don't worry it'll heal." I snicker
He snapped his leg back in place.
"Now you idiots gonna tell me what you where fighting over?" I ask placing a hand on my waist
They look at each other, silently deciding whether or not they should tell me. I look at them. They stair off into space pretending I hadn't said a word.
"Hello? I asked you a question... Either you tell me or I'll make you." I smiled
Their eyes widened as soon and those words came from my mouth. I felt like I was abusing my alpha powers but if my pack members are fighting it's my job to resolve it.
"Come on someone better tell me or I'll do it." I say
They stand there stiff as a fence. I halfway transformed and called them into submission. It's an alpha power. Alphas can call their betas to them or to submission with their howl or roar. Calling to submission allows you to hurt them but it's all mentally linked.
They both sat and their eyes glowed a yellow.
"What are you two fighting over?" I ask
They try to resist it. I push harder causing them to cringe.
"I'm gonna ask again... What where you fighting about?" I roar at them
"You." They both replied and a robot kind of way
I let them go. I looked at them both. Then at Myles and over to Jackson.
"I'm sorry I didn't that to you." I say
I turn around and head to my room. I walk in and Lola and Mandy are laying on their own beds talking. I flop down on mine and face the ceiling.
"What's up Dena?" Asked Lola
"I called Jackson and Myles to submission, I wanted to know what they where fighting about." I sigh
"What where they fighting about?" Asked Mandy
You could hear in her voice that she was tried. She even looked it.
"Me." I say, "Me of all things they could fight over, they fight over me."
"Ohh you've got two boys falling for you." Smiled Lola
"Speaking of boys, what's up with you and Neil?" I ask
"We decided to stay friends, and since that night at the dorm he's been acting weird." Lola says
"Well..." Mandy says
"We what?" Asked Lola
"You did have sex...." She said
"Well yeah, he seemed interested in dating me... But then poof I'm invisible again." Lola says
"What about Travis... I saw you looking at him the other day." I say
"He doesn't even pay attention to me." Lola sighed
"No, I've seen him checking you out." Mandy says
"He probably was looking at you guys." Says Lola
"He was looking at you." Mandy says
"No." Lola says in disbelief
"He definitely was." Mandy says
"When?" Asked Lola
"Yesterday, in the mess hall. You where laughing at Adena's comment on Stacy halls shorts and Travis smiled while passing us... He almost ran into Theo." Mandy explained
"Your funny... It didn't happen." She said
"Yes it did." Mandy said
"No it didn't." Lola said
This could have gone on forever, but it didn't last long because Mandy passed out.
"What the hell?" Lola seemed scared
"I'll get the nurse." I say
Is there even a nurse? I'll just get my mother.
I find my father in the hall.
"Dad where's mom?" I ask
"I'm her office why?" He asked
"It's Mandy... She just passed out... And that's not normal for her." I say
