"Do you have to go?" He held onto my shirt as I hugged him tightly. 

"It's how we are going to keep you safe love. Plus Yavok will be there and I'm pretty sure you don't want him coming around here," I smiled down at him as he pouted childishly. 

"That's true," he sighed and looked away from me with a sudden sad expression. 

"Hey don't do that. Amanda will be here to keep you company and Delunca."

"I know but I'm going to miss you," since last night Vasili had become incredibly clingy in a blink of an eye. I figured this was his way of coping with everything and I was glad he decided to use me as a distraction. Everyone knew I loved attention. There was barely a moment where I was completely alone. He always made sure to cuddle himself against me as soon as I sat down next to him or held my hand whenever we walked somewhere. It was adorable to see Vasili like this.
