Meskwaki (Fox) River Village, 62 B.C.
Louie sat by himself, eating a piece of cooked rabbit. The native people treated him like an anomaly. They were kind but did not let him sit with the tribe to eat. He was clothed in skins and wore a simple headband. The tribe named him Kajika which means, Walks Without Sound. Louie learned that it was because he could not speak their language when they first brought him into their camp. He would try and communicate with hand gestures.
Louie looked up and spotted a domesticated looking yellowish-golden dog coming towards him.
"Well, hello there, fella. Where did you come from? I didn't think canines like you existed here."
He started to pet him when he noticed the collar and tag the dog wore around his neck.
"Hold on here! Hickory Dickory Doc, KC 06. This tag was not made here. You are not from this time period. What's going on here? Didn't Katya and Cyrus mention a dog like you in their report from England?"
