Some children who were playing behind the museum giggled as they noticed Seth and Lesley engaged in their kiss. One little girl had her mouth opened with surprise, and the pilgrims thought that she must have noticed them suddenly appear out of thin air.
Lesley noted that the bushes were trimmed but much thicker and denser than they were in 1893. It was much more difficult to hide their suitcase in.
Walking around to the front, Seth spotted a row of taxis waiting. "We're about ten or so blocks from the fair," he said. "Let's grab one of those cabs."
