Just before he reached Oswald, she stepped in front of the man. "Seth! Why Seth Thomas, I'd know you anywhere!" She spoke loudly, maintaining her Dallas dialect. "Seth, you old cad, what in heaven's name are you doing here?"
Oswald turned to look but then quickly entered the building.
"Katya, what...why are you here?" Seth stammered.
"No, Seth, I repeat," she said, now speaking low and rough, looking into his eyes, "what in heaven's name are you doing here?"
"You have to let me go. I have to stop Oswald." He was speaking in a panicked voice. "You aren't going to just stand here and watch Kennedy be assassinated, are you?"
"You keep your voice down, Seth Thomas," she scolded. "I will not let you interfere with the events here. You have no idea what you did."
"Did?" asked Seth.
