章 7: CHAPTER 7- LANKA
When DUSHGREEV came near to his hut, he saw his brother KUMBHAKARNA was looking at a tree.
He asked his brother "what are you looking at? "
"Brother, I was looking at that fruit, can you get me that fruit?"
"Of course i can".Then DUSHGREEV lowered his bow from his back and started searching for a thick wood.
"can i help you brother? "KUMBHAKARNA asked.
"No I got what I wanted".He picked up a stick from the ground and stuck it in the bow, then he aimed at the fruit and shot the stick as an arrow at it.
As soon as the fruit fell, DUSHGREEV picked up that fruit and gave it to Kumbhakarna.
" Thank you brother".
"Let's go now it is late, mother will be worried for us".DUSHGREEV said.
"OK brother".
"When both of them reached the hut, they saw their father meditating."
Ravana told Kumbhakaran that "go inside and take rest, you must be tired."
"I too feel the same".
As soon as Kumbhakaran went inside , Ravana sat down in front of his father and said"BABA".
"Baba slowly opened his eyes and said"DUSHGREEV you looks very happy today. Ok tell me which lesson did RISHI Shukracharya teach you today?"
"About DIVYASTRA Baba".
"OK, tell me the names of some important divine weapons?"
"Narayanastra, Sudarshana Chakra, Pasupatastra,
Trishul, Brahmashira Astra and Brahmastra Baba."
"Good, now tell me according to you which is the most powerful divine weapon.
"Umm.... I think Trishul Baba".
"Why?"
"Because Baba Trishul is a trident, a divine symbol,the Trishul is the destructor of the physical world which drags the mankind away from the spiritual connection. It represents holiness and good deeds and is said to remove the troubles of past, present and future."
"What you said is right",Baba said.
"Baba, the story you were telling me was not completed."
"Oh yes yes,So where was I"Baba asked.
"The last word was Lanka Baba".
"Ok so listen, I have traveled a long way to north then I got the city of Lanka."
"What kind of city is lanka baba?"
"Lanka was originally built by the divine architect of Devas, Vishwakarma for Lord Shiva, but was seized by the brothers, Malyavan, Sumali and Mali."
"So when you got there, grandfather Sumali was the ruler of Lanka?"
"Yes, When I reached there, his messengers informed him that a saint had entered in the city."
"What happened then baba? "
"Then when I was walking in the city, four gatekeepers came to me and said that"Come with us you have been called by the king".I knew I would be called, I wanted the same."
" What happened then baba?"DUSHGREEV asked.
"I entered the palace,that's when I saw your mother for the first time, she was walking in the garden with her maids.I had to wait for a while because the king had not come to the court yet. Then I heard some people whispering that"Today the princess is also going to come in the court."
Then a voice came," Baba Maa is calling both of you to have food", It was VIBHISHANA's voice.
