<Healing Potion (High-Grade)>
<Description: Made from Saint Flower, Purple Ginseng, Lortewart, and thirteen more ingredients. Its healing properties can help regenerate the human cells by x22 faster. The flavor is enhanced by four fruits from different seasons mixed with a bit of alcohol>
<Potential: S+>
'What is Samon thinking adding alcohol in this potion? Does he serve healing potions in celebrations.?'
Almost all potions and elixir have their different flavors that are pleasant on the taste buds. The energy-inducing elixir has a strong ginger taste, the mana potion had a blueberry mix into it, and the cold resistance has a spiciness kick to it.
Brian just checked with his appraisal, but it's like a juice bar in here. All it needed was a bartender to mix and serve the drinks.
But the others don't have the appraisal skill so they don't know the potions and elixir they always thought to be bitter is now something you can accompany with a good meal.
"Boss Bry! You're going to incur losses at this rate if you sell everything half the price!"
"Half? My products are marked up enough to earn thrice of the initial cost."
"Thrice! When did magic ingredients and service of an alchemist become so cheap?!" Caerwyn took the book she was sharing to herself after the prices are really at least 50% off.
Alette was shocked the graceful elf she always knew is quickly turning the pages of the catalog book. Meanwhile, she already saw what she wanted and was heading towards the Fake Samon.
Potions and elixirs are one thing, but it isn't the only one the alchemy shop has to offer. In one of the shelves, there is a bundle of neatly organized scrolls with different inscriptions written on them.
This is a must-have for any mage who doesn't have an unlimited supply of mana. Those scrolls contain pre-crafted magic circles that will cast the spell recorded when it is torn. This ranges from offensive to body enhancement spells.
Magic wands may not be on sale in Nova Alchemy Shop, but these scrolls are more than enough to make any mages bring out their money- And Alette brought out she did.
"Can I have 3 [Fire Storm], 2 [Aquify], [Birds of Flame], 5 [Water Cage]…"
"Alette… Are you sure you're going to use all your money here?" Makoto was worried how many scrolls his slime teammate was buying since it reaches the point where Atlas, who was staying outside because he won't fit, needs to help carry the bundles of paper the little body Alette can't carry.
"You don't understand! I can get all things I'm always buying every single expedition for half of the price! This [Water Cage] had saved your ass at least three times already! I can finally buy more than just a box of pastries!"
"Alette?"
Makoto wasn't able to say anything besides her name after he saw a different type of Alette today. He was starting to get scared after noticing the girls in his group is starting to change the longer they stayed in the shop.
He asked the boss whether there's mind-control magic going on that was changing the behaviors of his party members. But Brian just reassures that there's nothing wrong besides the fact both girls are probably going to buy everything soon.
The stock Samon was able to create is limited because of ingredients and time constraints. It's not like they just had two of each kind, but Caerwyn and Alette were taking everything they can leaving only the things they don't need.
Money isn't a problem for them-- mostly. Using it is more a concern rather than earning.
After taking more than half of the products on the shelves, both girls were finally satisfied putting everything on their spatial inventory ring.
Brian is going to ask Samon to return soon. He'll have nothing to sell after this group of four just took all they wanted. But he's still ecstatic because that's almost a hundred gold in his pockets that quickly.
He took note of the rich customers they had because they'll be the first who'll attract the most. And this Mithril party is a great poster boy for his Nova shops so he needs to make sure they are satisfied every time they visit.
Although the only people who were really happy this time is the two girls. Makoto is being bombarded by insults since he's trying to talk to them while Atlas never touched anything in the first place because he wa staying outside.
If the Blacksmith was the boys' place to find the good stuff, then it's the girls' turn to shop to their content. You can tell which people were specialized in magic through it.
Brian gladly guided the group out, meeting some customers looking at their direction. To be exact, trying to see if the signboard was telling them the truth and a shop was just right under their nose.
These people aren't as strong as the Makoto's so many gave up and just entered the blacksmith even though it is strange to see the boss and the hero's party stepping out of thin air. But few are stubborn enough to stare at the same thing for more than a minute.
Their stubbornness paid off as the invisible shop from their eyes slowly revealed itself. They tried telling the others to do the same, but they thought these people are idiots and were hired by the boss to play the joke the sign says.
So no one entered the alchemy shop in the end. All those who were planning to do changed their mind when they saw no one believed in them. They don't want to risk looking like an idiot if this shop the boss is trying to tell them is just an illusion.
Brian wanted to take this opportunity and show them the shop does exist, but he didn't do it because there's little his shop can offer at the moment… And he still needs to create an instruction board on how service and transactions are done in his shop.
The Alchemy Shop really is incomplete now that Brian understood how to deal with Samon. He plans to visit Ogz again to increase the supply because, unlike his blacksmith, potions can be a daily necessity.
He's also going to ground Samon for overtime to create more than what he left before exploring away to nowhere. Brian already told the fake Samon to return as soon as possible so the message should already reach the real Samon.
Magic is convenient but Brian wished he had the technology to just tap a screen to call someone across the continent.
The first day of his Alchemy Shop went unexpected. He wished more people will know its name, but Makoto and his group delayed it for another day. He really underestimated the demand to the point he's thinking about increasing the price.
Although he stops himself from doing so because the lower price for the standard to higher quality goods might be the motto his Nova will be bringing from now on.
As troublesome as Samon is, he was thankful how cheap the labor of a grandmaster alchemist student is. Samon didn't ask that much except for the freedom he's taking advantage of right now.
That is why all goods he had is half the market price. What makes magical items expensive is not the ingredients, but the alchemist who will be creating them. The same reason can also be related to why Steron's time might cost a kingdom their treasury just to hire him a single instance.
A medicine that could dispel the curse of the dying king probably takes an extreme amount of effort with skill, maybe even sacrifice, to successfully create. Brian doesn't know what Steron is thinking, but he guesses there must be a reason why the Senior won't entertain them.
Brian hasn't heard what happened to the Avian kingdom. All he knows is the Avian knights roaming the streets are now all gone.
"Boss Bry, do you need help dealing with customers in the other shop?"
"It's fine. You can just stay here. The blacksmith needs more attention. Samon's clone should do the trick since it's a small shop anyway… But if you hear or see trouble happening next door, I hope Lucy can handle it."
"You can depend on me!"
Little did Brian know, the Alchemy Shop is going to be busier in the future-- Much much busier. But for now, he's going to finish his current quest. He only needs one more business on his list then it is good as done.
