° A Few Days Later
Matthew sat on a park bench in the middle of the day, nervously looking at the time on his phone as his eyes scanned his surroundings.
He was dressed in a carefully chosen set for the day's occasion.
A dark red polo shirt and light brown chinos over a pair of white low cut sneakers. Not too formal or too casual but smart casual. His hair was combed, his body smelling of a crisp and clean fragrance, and his breath was minty. Finally, his wallet was filled with enough money for any sort of expense that may come up. Needed or otherwise, for him it was better and calming to be ready.
He was completely ready, he made sure of that. What he didn't manage to account for was the nervousness in his gut.
He closed his eyes and began to control his breathing, calming down significantly in a short moment but still couldn't get rid of the bit of nervousness that stayed.
He let out a long breath and talked to himself "Come on, it's a just date. You've gone through more nerve wracking things than this"
He tried to summon up the courage he built up over the years of his life, both new and old. That helped a bit. But, try as he might, that little piece of nervousness stubbornly clung to him anyway. He went on and on, anyway. Spending his next free minutes calming down fully.
He interrupted about 10 minutes in when he heard the familiar voice he was waiting for.
"Hey!" a young woman said as she approached.
Matthew looked to where her voice came from and watched a short haired blonde he almost didn't recognize smiling at him. She wore a black cap and a set of large black rimmed glasses paired along with black leather jacket over a black tee and leg hugging fit dark blue cut off shorts. A pair of black and white sneakers finished off her outfit, giving her a chic look.
Matthew stared after she walked up to him and gave him an amused look.
"I was expecting a compliment, you know. But I guess stunned silence will do just fine" the girl said with a smile.
Matthew shook off the stun and spoke up, unable to hide the amazement in his voice "Alicia?"
"Yes" Alicia gave him a peck on his cheek "The one and only"
That snapped him out of it fully as he smiled "Wow. I almost didn't recognize you"
"Really?" Alicia looked down on herself "I don't look that different"
"The way you styled your hair and your outfit...you looked like a different girl. I started to think that I was being hit on by a passing beauty until I heard your voice" Matthew admitted.
Alicia looked up at Matthew appreciatively before her gaze shifted over his outfit and a smile grew on her face.
"Looks like I'm not the only one. You look very handsome" she said.
Matthew flushed for a moment before he cleared his throat, Alicia giggled as she pulled him close.
"C'mon. Let's get going or we'll miss the movie!" she said excitedly, waving a pair of movie tickets in his hands.
Matthew let her drag him off "Where are we going?"
She told him "The Alamo Drafthouse. Downtown Brooklyn"
"That's quite a bit of a walk. And traffic's gonna be if we take an Uber" Matthew replied, his eyes then looking up to the sky "But..."
"But?" Alicia asked, following Matthew's eyes. It took her a moment to realize what he was saying and a wide smile grew on her face.
"Oh definitely!" Alicia beamed.
Matthew smiled back and gently scooped her into his arms. He wanted to say something fitting for the situation but Alicia got ahead of him.
"I'm impressed that your hand didn't immediately go to my ass" Alicia said bluntly, eyes narrowed in challenge.
Matthew shook his head "Don't tempt me. I'm trying to be a gentleman here!"
Alicia giggled and waved his concerns away, "Alright. More on that, later. For now, take me away!"
Matthew gave their surroundings a good look for any eyes on them. Finding nothing, he finally rose off the ground slowly. Once he felt Alicia's hold tighten around him, he grinned.
"Hang on. I can be a bit rough" he said.
"Oh you cheeky--"
Then, before she could finish, he shot into the sky. With his date clutched tightly to his chest despite her growing joy at finally being able to experience what it's like to fly.

An hour and a half later, the couple exited the theater with mixed reactions. So, instead of dealing with it, they decided to talk about each other instead. Spending the next few hours getting to know each other better on a social level to cope with the already high physical familiarity they have.
"Wait" Alicia said with a soft chuckle "So you're actually half alien and half human?"
"Yep. My dad's the alien called a Viltrumite and my mom is human" Matthew said, casting the sliver of doubt he felt on the later fact given his extra abilities.
"Wow. So I really am dating an alien hunk" Alicia said, eyeing Matthew up and down.
"Lucky you then" Matthew replied cheekily "And my eyes are up here, you know"
"I know" Alicia smiled, her eyes still on his body "But looking for extra tentacles or mouths beneath all that fabric. Who knows what you're hiding?"
Matthew raised an eyebrow and kept calm despite his arousal, "Be careful, tease me too much and I'll lose control and devour you. Right here, right now"
Alicia bit her lower lip and met his eyes, smiling provocatively all the while.
"We'll see about that" she said "If you're lucky"
"Okay" Matthew chuckled "Enough with the innuendos. Let's talk about you"
Alicia rolled her eyes and tugged on his arm "Okay, but I'm warning you. It's a boring topic"
Matthew laughed "Selling yourself short won't discourage me, you know. If anything, it makes me more interested"
Alicia shook her head "I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just a normal, everyday college girl with intimacy issues. That's all"
"We'll see about that" Matthew smiled "What do you do when you're not running around in that sexy skin-tight yellow suit and zapping idiots straight?"
Alicia laughed and slapped his arm "Matthew! That was so crude!"
Matthew merely smiled and waited for her reply.
"Well" Alicia thought about it "Not a lot actually. Other than studying and hanging out with friends, I usually just exercise and practice in my free time"
Matthew nodded, understanding why she was so fit and moved around easily.
"Practice what?" he asked.
"Basketball" Alicia said "I got into Upstate University through a sports scholarship"
Matthew looked at her wide-eyed and surprised "Seriously?"
Alicia smiled, tracing her curvy side "Yeah. You don't think I got this fine ass just by sitting down and studying, do you? I'm a star player despite being a sophomore"
"Wow. At least you're humble about it" Matthew smirked.
Alicia waved the backhanded compliment with a wave "Keep interrupting and you won't go anywhere near it"
"Understood" Matthew said, quickly shutting up.
Alicia smiled victorious as she continued "Back to the topic, Yes. I am in Upstate on a sports scholarship, full ride with a small allowance given every month to help with any expenses in my engineering course"
"That's very impressive" Matthew said, seeing his girlfriend in a different light "My girlfriend is such an amazing person"
"Thank you. And don't you forget it" Alicia puffed out her chest, clearly proud of herself, and once again gave Matthew a much longer kiss to show her appreciation.
Then she deflated a moment later.
"But I'm not so great at the academic part at the moment" Alicia said, showing her frustrations plainly on her face and voice.
"It is because of the Guardians thing? Or is it because of me?" Matthew asked, bracing himself for the possible answer.
Alicia looked at his face and laughed "No! If anything, you give me the energy I need to get things done quickly. I was talking about this 'genius grant' asshole who struts around the engineering and sciences colleges like he owns the place"
Matthew felt relieved and laughed at her obvious annoyance at the guy in question, "What did he do? Take all the attention from my pretty girl?"
"No" Alicia answered with a snarl "But he insisted on having me fail the class after I was a minute late from delivering the project due last week"
"What?" Matthew asked.
"Yeah! He argued it to my professor for about 15 minutes and insulted me to my face before he was told to walk out of class. Told me I was wasting my time with how inefficient I was " Alicia gritted "I really wished I zapped the asshole the moment he got out of the room"
Sensing her mood growing foul, Matthew decided to move the topic ahead to a lighter one.
He lightly nudged her and gave her a smile "Hey, don't let this guy get in your head. He sounds just like a self important ass no one will ever be attracted to. And, if you want, I could string him up somewhere high up for a day or two to humble him"
Alicia stopped and gawked at him "You're joking"
"Nope" Matthew said easily and tapped his chin in thought "Mayde on the crown of the Statue of Liberty or tip of the Golden Gate Bridge or--"
Alicia slapped his arm playfully and laughed "Oh my god, Matthew! Stop that! That's even worse than zapping him with my electricity"
Seeing her reaction, Matthew happily continued.
"Or I could just stick him on some deserted island, deep inside a forest, on top of Mount Everest" Matthew went on to list out more and more exaggeratedly far away locations, much to Alicia's laughter and enjoyment as she clung to his side like a gibby girl.
They rode the happy mood as they both enjoyed the long walk for the next few hours before they decided to stop at a local restaurant to eat, with Matthew insisting on paying for all of it. Even the desserts.
"You shouldn't have" Alicia said as she watched their bill be taken away "We could've paid together, half each"
"I know" Matthew smiled at her "But I would really like to pay for our first date. It's a male pride thing, you could say"
Alicia smirked "Oh, I know. And thank you for that"
"Don't mention it" Matthew said, standing up from his seat and offering a hand to her "Now come, it's almost sunset and I have a perfect spot in mind"
Alicia raised an eyebrow in question and put her hand on his as he guided them out of the restaurant, into a secluded corner, and off into the skies.
"Where are we going?" Alicia asked after a good minute of silently watching the buildings grow smaller the farther Matthew took her into the sky.
"Up" Matthew said cheekily "Just close your eyes and trust me"
Alicia stared at him, looking intently with the hope of prying for more but Matthew wasn't saying anything else. So she did as he asked and closed her eyes, putting her head on his chest as he carried her higher and higher.
Matthew settled in the air a moment later and turned around "We're here"
Alicia opened her eyes but closed them back almost instantly and her grip on him tightened severely.
"Matt. Why are we so high up?" she asked, her voice quivering slightly.
"It's for a surprise. I wanna show you something amazing, but it's not yet time" Matthew said, glancing behind and to the sight behind him.
"Not yet time?" Alicia said angrily, still closing her eyes shut "What exactly are we waiting for?"
"A stunning view" Matthew said, then looked down on the girl in his arms "Not that the one in front of my eyes is any less stunning"
Alicia zapped his fingers in embarrassment, making Matthew feel a slight tingle that made him chuckle.
"Hey, just saying. I appreciate the view" Matthew said, drawing close to her forehead and giving it a light peck.
Alicia struggled in his arms for a bit and so Matthew decided to make her comfortable. He placed both hands on her waist and held her in front of him, giving her a comforting smile as she looked around her with obvious fear in her eyes.
"Hey" he said in a soft voice "Calm down, I got you"
"But--"
"Alicia. Trust me. I won't let you fall" Matthew said firmly.
Alicia hesitated and let out a sigh then nodded. She was about to speak with her eyes traced towards the view behind him and her mouth fell open in a way Matthew found quite cute.
"Oh my god" she said, eyes widening as if trying to take in more of the view.
Matthew chuckled and turned them around, greeting the sight of the sun setting on the wide ocean that extended as far as their eyes could see. The last bits of golden rays cast their glow on the cityscape and the waters below, a rare and breathtaking panoramic view of the beauty that was the prelude to the evening.
"I planned for this to be the icing on our date, something magical to see before night comes" Matthew said as he enjoyed the stunning view "Is it safe to say that I was right?"
Alicia took a good moment to answer with a slow nod.
Matthew smiled and went to explain his thought process when a set of warm lips claimed his own, effectively shutting him up. The exchange was passionate and ladted long enough for them both to be out of breath when they parted, their eyes met and Alicia gave him the words that made nearly all of his blood rush down to his pants.
"My room. Now" she whispered in his ears.
Matthew didn't even hesitate before he shot towards the general direction of Upstate University, much to Alicia's amusement.

°Upstate University, Girls Dormitory
Matthew and Alicia were already deep into a passionate and hot make out session when Alicia's room window came within reach, both of them grinding against the other as their lust became almost unbearable.
Somehow, despite the foggy state of mind that resulted from the massive reallocation of blood, Matthew managed to gently open the window and angled them to enter. Landing on the bed as the make-out continued and became even fiercer with Alicia pushing Matthew on the bed, straddling him while she tugged her shirt up and off.
She pried herself from him for a moment to throw her shirt and jacket off, revealing her half naked slender form for Matthew to gawk at. And he did, openly. A faint yellow glow slowly rose from her skin as sparks of electricity began to crackle about her like tiny serpents swimming in and out of her.
"God" Matthew said as his arousal intensified "Now that is shocking"
Alicia nearly rolled her eyes "Quit the cheesy quips or sex gonna is off the table"
"Holding something like that hostage in my current state is unfair, you know" Matthew said, then conceded "But yes, ma'am"
And then, the next few hours were filled with loud moans and pleasured screams that irritated Alicia's roommate and next door neighbors. But neither her nor Matthew were distracted enough to care.
