We sat watching the huge, fiery auburn sun disappear into the horizon and darkness descended immediately. The waiter came and took our order, and normal conversation resumed after the previously quiet ten minutes we'd watched the sunset.
When the food came, the fish tacos were to die for, but I hated the fact that Flynn was staring at me eating, and I couldn't call him on that because Kayden was sitting there with us. He knew exactly what I was thinking and glanced sideways at me more than a few times before shifting so that the fine hairs on his knee were rubbing against my thigh.
Seconds later, his hand landed between my legs and slid slowly toward the apex between them. I caught his hand and pressed heavily to stop it advancing any further as he leaned in again to whisper, "Now you know why I won't let you get drunk," he said giving me a lopsided grin.
