The man in the cowl ran straight towards Meda. Rather than running, it's probably better to say he shifted positions, as he seemed to use some sort of teleportation ability. In fact, that was his [Power], [Skip]. He could move to any position, that was vaguely in front of him, or that he could see properly. Nothing like seeing the top of a building from the ground, and guesstimating the location of the actual roof, no, this was definitely limited, but he was on top of those limitations.

He pulled out his sword, going straight for a kill, clanking around heavily in the process. Meda had no clue why this man was so fixated on her, so she just decided to evade the techniques for a while. She noticed it at the beginning, but couldn't quite place it anywhere, the way this samurai wielded his blade was unusual, and definitely familiar to her. Unusual, because he seemed to miss a certain finesse in his movements, but familiar, because she knew she faced him before.
