Third Person's POV
With the greetings exchanged, Commander Vorith gestured toward the castle gates, which were now fully open and awaiting their arrival. "My liege, if it pleases you, we will escort you back to the castle."
Alex nodded, his gaze sweeping over his assembled men. "Lead the way, Vorith."
With a crisp salute, Commander Vorith turned and began to march toward the castle, his men falling into formation behind him. The young lad and Alex followed, the two of them walking side by side as they made their way toward the imposing structure that loomed ahead.
As they walked, the young lad couldn't help but steal glances at Alex. Alex's face was composed, but there was a certain tension in his posture, a sign that he was already thinking ahead to whatever awaited them within the castle walls. It was a reminder that, no matter how peaceful the journey had been, their duties were far from over.
