章 65: Antidote

The whole ride to Sterling Pack was silent. We have a long drive to battle, and I was thankful enough that the highway was deserted. The signs and the scenery outside the car were in a blur as we sped by. The spring air was refreshing to the skin, but it didn't lift my mood a bit.

Dion was handling the wheel, eyes on the road to avoid any possible danger, while Lauren, tinkered and kept her laptop close. She was checking incoming reports from the agency from time to time. 

I notice things. Maybe, Lauren can feel the uneasiness in Dion through their bond that's why one of her hands was comfortably placed on his leg, patting it unconsciously.
