章 72: You Could Call Her Pretty Unlucky

Penelope's alarm went off at 3:45 AM and she snoozed it. And snoozed it…and snoozed it again. By the time she got up, she barely had time to make some toast for the road, forgoing makeup and putting her hair up in a messy ponytail. 

Vitacall didn't have uniforms so she ended up putting on a pair of dark wash jeans and a white peasant blouse with blue embroidery on it. Not the sort of thing she would normally wear but she didn't have much choice. 

Thankfully she saw the ID badge on the counter and remembered to grab it in her half-asleep state. As it turned out, that was the only way to get into the building. At this hour, only the employee entrance was open. 

Penelope had absolutely no idea where she was supposed to go. There were multiple call floors in this building and each one had a different client to provide customer service for. StarCard was the only one her other self had been trained on.
