章 72: "The time has arrived"

"Hahhh!!"

I plopped on the bed and let out a loud breath of comfort. It was a long and tiring day but I was up for it. I hadn't enjoyed like this in such a long time.

I looked towards my right and saw Anne and Ivy passed out like they had climbed a mountain or two. Since today's our last night here, Ivy insisted on sleeping with us. 

They had planned to gossip all night but their systems shut down the moment their heads hit the pillow. A chuckle left my mouth as I also prepared myself to go to bed.

But soon it hit me. I sat up with a jolt.

"Ferina..." I whispered as I remembered her calling out for me during the festival. I peeked at the girls to confirm their deep slumber and yup, they had passed out.

I closed my eyes and thought about the Lolal tree, and when I opened my eyes again, there I was, in my heaven. A smile caressed my lips as I took in a long breath of the fresh air filled with flowery scent.
