"Sorry, sir, but things like that are not allowed inside…"
The moment Chess stepped out of the taxi, with the sack of bottle on his hand, the guard already stopped him by the entrance of the hospital.
Of course, he was expecting it.
He wasn't really trying to enter either. Instead, he just wanted to leave it to the guard for a while. The guard looked kind enough to be trusted. And even if he's untrustworthy, it'd be easy to take him down since he's probably already in his senior years.
So, Chess just smiled shyly at the old guard while scratching the back of his head.
"Oh, I'm sorry… could I leave it to you for a while, then? I promise I'd be back in no time." He said.
Chess definitely looked like a decent good kid. So the guard, being the old man that he is, just sighed as he defeatedly nodded his head in approval. Young and good kids are his weakness nowadays.
A gentle smile then appeared on his lip as he patted Chess' head.
