章 45: Chapter 45: Cale's Story

I grew up in an orphan.

I had no mother, no father, no siblings and no name.

"Kids! It's time for lunch!"

I remembered how Father Francis called us back for lunch. He would stand at the door entrance, ring a bell, and call us back.

The church was so nice. It was newly renovated, so it looked clean and bright. And after hearing that bell, we would always end up racing to see who can arrive first and Father would just watch us with a smile on his lips.

I've always thought that even though I had no family, it didn't matter. My friends are there, the other older brothers and sisters who had already left the orphanage still visits us, and, most importantly, Father was there.

I thought nothing could change that.

"Cale!" one girl came rushing towards me.

She had cute pig tails and big round eyes. She was my little best friend. She was the one who suggested 'Cale' for my name, that Father happily agreed to.

Since then, I became Cale.
