章 49: "It's Not Looking Good"
Leonardo just scored a brilliant goal he goes towards the right-hand corner of the pitch to celebrate his goal with his teammates, and all of the A.F. Bologna players rush towards Leonardo in joy to celebrate the goal, while there was complete silence in the stadium, Parma C.F fans were in complete disbelief and the players were standing on the pitch holding their heads in disappointment. The whole was almost silent except for one stand in the stadium where A.F. Bologna fans were celebrating. Ale Piola was throwing his hands in the air showing his tantrum towards his players. Every player of the Parma C.F. looked at Cilo Eincho, Cilo Eincho knew that he made a mistake and his mistake led to a goal, he accepted his mistake and showed maturity by raising his hands and apologising to everyone. Leonardo as a veteran of the team stepped up, he clapped to get his teammate's attention and asked them to calm down and get back to their respective positions, be focused and start again. Everyone listened to his instructions and started to get back to their positions.
"WOW! ALDO What a peach of a goal that was, it was worth watching!"
"Yes, You are right Gabrielle! what a fine finish by Leonardo, a very good pass from the back and a great first touch by him, a little bit of miscommunication between Angelo and Francesco and then BANG! into the nets, no chance for the keeper to stop that shot, 1:0 A.F. Bologna."
"Yeah, Aldo you are right that there was a little bit of miscommunication between Angelo and Francesco but more than that it was first the captain Cilo Eincho who lost possession of the ball cheaply, that was very poor from the Cilo Eincho."

Fabio again placed the ball in the centre of the pitch for the kick-off. He passed the back to Angelo but after a few seconds he was immediately pressed by Leonardo he passed the ball to Macella but he was pressed by another player giving him no time and space to turn, he had no option left so he just passed it back to the Vincenzo. Vincenzo received the ball but in the very next second, he was pressed by another forward. Vincenzo lost composure on the ball and was about to concede a goal but before the forward of A.F Bologna could do something about it, Vincenzo got his hand on the ball and got the goal kick.
"Oh! Parma C.F. were on the verge to concede another goal within three minutes after conceding the first goal."
"Yeah! Gabrielle that was a nervy moment for the keeper, he got immediately pressed and lost the composure on the ball completely but miraculously somehow it never ended in the back of the net."
"You are right, Aldo! a very nervy moment for Parma C.F. but somehow they managed to escape it but we have A.F. Bologna as well what a play by them."
"Yeah! of course, a very smart, intelligent piece of play by A.F. Bologna the way they are using the pressing triggers is phenomenal, they are only pressing when it is needed and waiting for their moment to come and the man-marking by them is also great, they are having a hell of a first half, A.F. Bologna."
"Yes, Aldo! A.F. Bologna is the only one who is running the show right now, they are giving any sort of hope for Parma C.F. to make a play and create something. What do you think Aldo? what should Parma C.F. do right now?"
"What could I say, Gabrielle? in this type you have to be very careful when you receive the ball, look around yourself before you receive, pass the ball accurately don't make a mistake, don't be lazy otherwise you will get punished for that and most importantly keep your heads up! don't let yourselves down after conceding the goal."
Parma C.F. players were trying to create a passing sequence for themselves, they were having possession of the ball while A.F Bologna players were sitting in a 4-4-2 mid-block defending in their half. Cilo Eincho had the ball and this time he got the chance to turn and look for the passing options but he saw in front of him that he was startled. The A.F. Bologna players were in front of him in a very 4-4-2 compact shape cutting out all of his passing options, Cilo couldn't see a chance for himself to give a pass instead he was forced to pass it sideways. He passed the ball to Macella and Macella received it since A.F. Bologna players were compact he had a lot of space in front of him to run. He drove the ball upfront and looked for a passing option but like Cilo Eincho he was also facing the same problem, no one to pass all passing options are blocked. Lorenzo knew Macella needed someone, he comes near to him to create a passing option.
Marcella passed the ball to Lorenzo but it was intercepted by A.F. Bologna's defender. The defender got the ball and launched a long ball for Leonardo, who had acres of space in front of him, they repeated the same sequence that they had done for the first goal. Leonardo again using his pace run towards the ball Francesco was beaten by him at pace and Angelo was trying to get the ball first but Leonardo gives him a slight shoulder-to-shoulder tackle and moved him out of his way and get to the ball first, he controlled the ball perfectly and was about to run towards the goal, Vincenzo knew the danger, he came forward from his goal line and kicked the ball away from Leonardo for a throw-in.
"Ohh! that was again the same sequence that happened in the first goal, right Aldo!"
"Yes, you are right! Gabrielle A.F. Bologna players are making this very cagey for Parma C.F. cutting out all of their options sitting in the compact mid-block and waiting for the perfect moment."
Ale Piola standing at the sidelines shaking his head while Paulo sitting on the bench looking at the game intensely. The A.F. Bologna midfielder threw the ball in a A.F Bologna get to the ball first but he lost the ball to Macella. Macella made a great tackle and the moment he made a tackle it was a moment of hope for Parma C.F. the fans also started cheering.
Ale Piola was shouting and instructing Macella from the sidelines to run forward, Lorenzo and Fabio also ran forward to make a presence in the opposition box. Macella was running with the ball and was about to pass the ball to Lorenzo it was a great opportunity for him but he got tackled by the right-back of A.F Bologna at that moment and got back the ball. Everyone's joy suddenly turned into disappointment. The A.F. Bologna quickly launched a long ball for Leonardo and Leonardo again was in the same sequence just like before. A little miscommunication between Angelo and Francesco, Leonardo got to the ball first and Vincenzo again moved forward from his goal line to tackle but this time Leonardo looked at him before doing something, once Vincenzo came near he passed the ball to another forward player who running towards the box completely unmarked. The players got the ball and put it back into the net and A.F. Bologna scored their second goal before halftime.
