章 36: "Disagreement"
Paulo after giving his decision looks to shut the door at her face but Catherine managed to stop him from closing the door and still try her best to change his mind on not returning back to his home she refer sister and says.
"Paulo you know today in the morning I talked to your sister, she was very angry with me as well , I mean more than you are right now, she said to me lot of things due to her anger but more than that she was very sad that her brother is not there anymore and I sense it at that very moment. Paulo if your upset with me, angry it's completely fine, I am ok with it but please comeback home for your sister for your mother at least." Paulo the moment when heard about her sister sadness he was literally feeling a bit emotional by that and his anger also gets vanished for a moment. He says.
"I know she care about me a lot, in my every tough situations she was there to back me, she never asked me for anything all she did for me was truly selfless but now I have chosen my path and can't look back. I am sorry if she had said any thing that hurt you and your self esteem." Catherine frustrations were rising in every minute because Paulo doesn't agree to her request to come home but Catherine still trying her best stay calm and says:
"Paulo I don't want any sort of apology from you I just want you to come back home, please I literally beg you. If not for me just for the same of your family." Paulo was very much determined over his decision and replied:
"I have made my decision, I will follow the path that I have chosen, there no more looking back for me. I know my mother and sister are sad right but soon they will proud of me one day and my father will realise that I was not wrong over my decision." Catherine is now finally starts to lose her calm as she is consistently tries to persuade him to come home but Paulo does not agree with her whatever she ask him to do. Now Catherine loud her tone a bit and says:
"Oh C'mon since I came here I am trying to persuade you to come back to your, I am trying to make you understand that what path you have chosen isn't good for you, not your family and not for anybody, you think that this team in which you are playing will help you to achieve your dream ? No these guys will use you and then throw you out like trash. See Paulo I am losing my pateince with you now and I can't resist this anymore, you even know from next week our exams are going to start and you are just over exaggerating everything. This is the last time I am asking you are you coming with me right now or not ?" Paulo have no fear of her getting angry with him anymore and he calmly give his answer to her:
"Ok so you also listen for ONE PIECE TIME ! I will not come with you that's my final decision and yeah if you talk about the exams, I am not going to give any single exam of any respective subject, from now on this the last time you ever asked me to do anything as a friend because you and me are no longer friends now." Catherine feel deeply gutted and she took his final verdict as a insult, she gets full of rage and says:
"OK FINE ! just do whatever you want to do with your. I just came here thinking that I will make you realise upon your mistake and once you will understand everything will be back normal but NO ! I was dumb to even think that because you have totally lost your senses to understand what is other trying to. All you do is just to care about yourself that's it, you don't even have a sense responsibility at all, I don't why I am even telling you this, you just burn in HELL." Catherine after that walks away from there and Fabio also returns with all of the grocery things, he casually ask her what happend ? and Catherine lashed at him said to ask his friend what happend and goes out from there but at some distance she come back, it was looking that she haven't finished yet and she starts to curse Paulo:
"PAULO ! you might think that you are going to achieve what you always dream of but listen to me carefully ! the day when your so called dream will break and the reality hit you hard you will realise how wrong were and you regret it and then you comeback to your family, you will comeback to me ! to remorse on your mistake and I will wait for that day." Catherine after that walks away with anger and sadness from there, wiping her tears while Fabio didn't know what just happend and he literally ask Paulo.
"What just happend here ? and exactly who was she ?" Paulo says:
"No one, did you brought eggs ?" Fabio thought that he did some error and says:
"Yeah brought eggs. Paulo but first I want to say that she said to me that she is your friend and she want to talk to you something important that's why I bring her here, I am sorry If I did something wrong." Paulo says:
"No you don't need to be sorry, you did nothing wrong, yeah you are right she was friend." Fabio was confused about her behaviour towards him and questions:
"If she is suppose to be your freind then why she was talking to you like an enemy ? I mean it was looking that she is your sworn enemy." Paulo nods his head and then asked him to come in he tell him what happened and they both go back inside the house.
Here Catherine comes back to her home, she pushes the door of her room hard and close it in a same manner and then she pull out book from her bag and then sit on her study table bragging.
"Why should I care about him when he doesn't care about himself, let him do whatever he wants to do, he will regret on his decision one day." Catherine couldn't hold back her emotion and bitterly cries while Paulo told Fabio everything a happend and then motvates him:
"Just let it go man, what happened, HAPPENED ! leave those things behind, tomorrow is the most important day of your life just focus on that." Paulo agreed what he said and then he asked him what he eat in dinner ? and went to kitchen while fabio was feeling that Paulo might be sad what happend with him he tries to console him but Paulo says he is not sad and now at he will focus on his match tomorrow and try his best to perform well in it and Fabio also cheered him up as well.
