Lais stood before Kaizan and Rosa, blocking them from Asad’s view, who would not let the mercenary go this time.

“I was disrespected; normally, I punish them.” He turned to look at Rosa, but the people in front blocked his view.

“Interesting, it did not seem like they were disrespecting anyone. However, they did resist orders.” Farad looked at Lais.

“What type of disrespect my guards did, brother? I want to know.” Lais continued.

He was frustrated with Asad.

“Hah! First your guard, and now you dare to disrespect me?” Asad retaliated.

“It is also interesting why brother is out this late at night. My guards had duty assigned to them.” Lais spoke with a soft voice.
