章 341: Agony

Ruby walked close to Greta. With every step she took, her heart rammed in her chest. It was as if her vision started to get blurry because of the pressure she felt within her head. Ruby wasn't herself and she didn't know what to do or what she would say when her mouth eventually opened to speak. She rubbed her hands against themselves and gathered her dark cloak in her hands, to wipe off the perspiration that had suddenly gathered there and to give her some support.

"G-Greta," Ruby murmured. However, it was so low that even she didn't think Greta had heard her. Her voice seemed stuck in her throat. Ruby cleared her throat a little as she stopped only a few metered away from her head maiden.

Greta bent sideways again. There was fear in her bright round eyes as she opened them to the size of saucers before she spoke; "My queen, I-I was looking for Anthony… he was supposed to be with you… I heard…" she tailed off as her voice broke with uncertainty.
