章 203: Mouth-Watering Plan

Now, the response that the guard gave Ruby left her more confused than she had been before she had asked him the question. Her brows creased and her mouth was agape when she glared at the stairs leading upstairs to the residential sect of the palace.

The palace guard bowed and took his leave with a pitiful expression on his face.

Ruby was taken aback by that expression and stared at his back wondering why he had looked at her that way. Did he know what was happening upstairs and purposely refrained from telling her?
