Hello Author-san here ;) This is my first novel and plot development is a bit slow because I want it to be as detailed as possible. So please bear with me. ^W^
I love the novel man keep up the good work!!i can never find a novel to entertain me like yours😅so please update quicker
I have been Reading this story for many months now and it really pains me to see it getting stopped at such a crucial part of the entire story. This story was one of the few stories that i check everyday to see any updates have been made or not. If author is seeing this i would like to say "Please release more chapters of this masterpiece " At this stage of the story it's really a pain To Leave without knowing what will happen further.
It would have been better imo if the "targets" didnt forget everything. But im only on ch 90......................................................................
CRITICAL REVIEW SPOILER FREE As of current read 300 chapters+ (Though more rant) It's pleasant to find a novel like this on webnovel since the anime/lightnovel-like niche is not as popular as one would think on here. The grammar is good, the characters are quite good and their development is very pleasing, and the story development is going well. The world background is lacking, but the setting takes place in a school, and the whole story is revolved around character interaction to the point that world background isn't really necessary at all. I'm pretty lenient in giving 5s if I think the work is does what it ought's to try to achieve and is worth reading. This novel definitely deserves it but there is an issue which made me detract 1 star. This isn't because of the flaws of the novel but because of some blatant copying of the popular light novel- Classroom of the Elite (COTE). Don't get me wrong, this novel and that work are very much different enough. However, some big points early in the novel are obviously derived from COTE. I have no idea how nobody in the reviews has even mentioned it at all. Sakamaki and the mc from COTE are pretty similar and arguably not that much different from each other. The major grip I have with it is the obvious major twist that occured at the end of V2. It pretty much had the same vibes and same way of talk as what mc from COTE did in the novels/anime. They both wrote the novel using the unreliable narrator gimmick. I can't remember in COTE, but in this novel and as it was written in the 1st person perspective, we should've had some hints about it through questionable monologue at the very least to show suspicion but alas nothing. From this point, I knew that this novel was heavily COTE inspired. This didn't work well with me because transitioning to the V3, once about halfway there, the big twist was plagiarism of COTE. I can let it go once in V2, but this is way too much of a carbon copy: the whole ordeal of Kizhashi Koi. I'm just gonna assume that the author is part of the Kei cult of COTE fandom and wanted make his own incarnate of her. Basically the same template, they literally both have blonde hair, their eye colour while different are closely similar (violet vs azure), and their names.... Kariuzawa Kei and Kizhashi Koi. I can't blame ya because Kei is great but... Koi really is basically a cheap carbon copy unfortunately. It really doesn't help that Koi and Sakamaki relationship will just be a copy of COTE of Kei and mc as they are basically so similar if not the same. After V3 though, the novel is completely its own work and things similar to COTE are pretty irrelevant and not substantial at all. Which is great because no longer is the work is in the shadow of COTE (besides the relationship of those 2 characters). The story cast of the novel are quite pleasing and I like them a lot. And I'm not talking about just the general gang, the friends that revolve around the capture targets were also very good. They did well as a supporting cast. I really miss the 3rd target's gang. Overall I still enjoyed the novel heavily from 1-4 until the latest volumes. SLIGHT SPOILERS V5/V6 - Interesting at first, but I wasn't really fan of the twist. I felt it was just wasted potential with how interesting the Fourth target was despite my dislike of her. And transfer student out of nowhere always means they are dodgy. Feels forced imo and I'm also including Lilith's biggest events as well. I know the author is going through rough times during these volumes and lacks the motivation to write, so it explains the quality decrease. I hope the author recovers and gives us a blast in the upcoming chapters. Now my reviews always end with me shipping the mc with a particular heroine. After all, Love is War. Being a realistic fiction novel and with the novels premise, I have high expectations! Personally, Lilith is my least liked heroine, bottom low. She is the main heroine (she changed the mc's life and will always be relevant and memory will never be forgotten). I am a huge fan of silver hair beauties but my gosh she feels CONTRIVED- almost never use this word in fiction but she really seems like that. With the way things have gotten especially in the latest volumes, she was constructed for readers to evoke sympathy for her through her horrific past and problems. That's fine as long as things weren't so forced to the point it feels contrived that I don't like at all. Which is crazy to me because I'm super weak to heroines like her, but I have almost 0 ounces of care for Lilith just because she feels super contrived. It really doesn't help that the author seems to be shifting the direction for the MC x Main heroine ship aka Lilith. The issue really isn't predictability but just it feels so so so so so forced and contrived. I don't usually root for main heroines because you know that 90% they are going to win and so I want to root for others, but my gosh I'm sorry but Lilith is a no. Which is pretty sad considering that I'd actually prefer Koi to be the winning ship over Lilith even if its a copy of COTE. Koi I would've absolutely loved if I didn't know about Kei. I really wish that the end heroine would be one of the capture targets. It would be pretty hard unless the author decides to pull another TWGOK gimmick, but it would be so much more interesting than the predictable Koi or unfortunate Lilith. Honestly I really look forward to this approach and I really really want the end heroine to be one of them!!! So far there's only 4 capture targets, and I'm assuming it gets up to 7 (hopefully not one of them being the teacher as I think it would just complicate things too much). From the 4, I would ship Naoto and the mc. Although I felt that Naoto was a little lacking and was different from initial impressions, she felt like she had much more than what was presented though that's just a feel. Out of the 4, in spite of the 4th target's relation, I still feel that Naoto would be best for the MC. She is also a heroine that has the ability to enter into the MCs heart though difficult. The novel did indicate that the MC had a gut-wrenching feeling after her arc which I assumed that he may of misunderstood what the reason for it was. Despite having many heroines, there surprisingly wasn't a heroine that I'm already obsessed over. Perhaps the future targets would surprise me. Right now I'm team Naoto!! Despite me not going into detail of its excellent points and instead ranted, but I hope the author is not offended by what I have written. I'm definitely an avid reader watching closely for this novel's updates.

A good idea behind the story but after the first target I thought mc was going to be much more cruel than he was, but he became more of a pushover but then again its character development

Please read the whole thing... One of the shzt if the the shzttiest of stuff that actually got me hooked like real good... I mean bruh you can't ask for anything better... Well if you're like me though..😉😉😉 Anyway... al i can say is ... this novel has super potential as well as it in itself is awesome... there are some hiccups along the way... which i experienced... but if you can push through it then you will enjoy it like everything... like bruh i wait for when that person who likes to be a super f king sadist(no offense bruh) to upload the chapters...😙😙😙 ( PS: you know who that sadist is but please don't sell me out, he'll eat me alive😖😖😖...not literally but yea you get the point) so anyway enough with bs...😁😁 Just read it and enjoy...😉😉😉

I like this novel its similar to an anime i watched called The World God Only Knows btw if you end up liking this novel then the animes is worth a watch also this works vice versa if you liked that anime you will probably like this novel. [img=recommend]

A fantastic piece of work from Author-san. A marvelous concept storywise. Although the pacing seems to be quite slow compared to some other stories I've read so far, Author-san has done an amazing work using it to give the readers a detailed, in-depth look into the characters' interactions, relationships, and machinations of our seemingly impassive and calculative MC. The interactions between the characters also feel quite natural and realistic. The only slight criticism I have is about the grammar. There's usually some misplacement of pronouns or other tidbits during most chapters, and some descriptions of the characters' interactions that just feel a bit wrong detracting from the story, but otherwise it's quite good. I recommend using Grammarly if you don't already. It effectively and efficiently aids in helping fix grammar mistakes and also allows you to learn from them properly. It's also free which is always a plus. Moreover, personally, I'm somewhat sad it doesn't seem to be a harem-type story so far but hey, that's just me. It would be quite interesting to possibly have a side-story or development where all the girlfriends that the MC has helped, remember him for it or whatnot. However, Author-san may possibly have some plans regarding this already. That aside, I'm definitely enjoying the read so far. I can't wait to see how Author-san develops this since it has so much potential and they're absolutely smashing it so far. Keep up the good work Author-san, you have my support! [img=recommend]
It's not a bad story, but sadly not for me, the plot twist at the end of the first vol was good, but I don't like those type of characters. then again that's taste not quality.

Finally... A gold... The development of the plot is good enough and kinda reasonable at least... The characters progression is Great.. it also suit my taste.. yeah solid 4.5 from me..

At the start, it was a tad bit slow, but the world building is good and the character development is pretty good, with each upcoming chapter. Overall, it's a fun read.
the Novel is great,i dont find any major problems regarding grammatical except for some minor problem including typos that i can found every now and then. story development as the author said in hos self review,a little bit slow in pace,i dont mind if u want tl slow some things to build some set up for future purpose. character design,the characters design are great,regarding their personality tho but u can try to polise ur phrase regarding what kind of situation their get that changed their feeling about mc more. updating stability is good enough as long as u dont drop this. world background,for the world background tho,i really appreciate about your slow pace novel but it will great if u can established some important rules regarding the contract first like is there any time limit for the mission? what kind of gift the curse give him? everytime i read your novel i always wondering about that. lastly i really appreciate your similar that have quite similar theme with the old good the world god only knows anime/manga,i just hope that we can see more character development from the mc tho,keep up the good work,author!
You can really imagine the daily life of a teenager in the story. It has the potential for an anime. There’s a lot in the details. Interesting interactions. The devil is rather funny. Keep up the good work!
I have to say, that this one is actually one of the books that kept me interested despite the fact I dislike reading books written in the first person, this felt like an emotionally written journal. MC is well written, and I have to give it 5. I also rarely give this high review if the book didn't keep me up with more than 10 chapters in one read. This? Did.
Very good start to the novel. The characters are properly introduced with interesting personalities. This novel is more focused on the character interactions for now, which seems very interesting. The writing is great but can be awkward at times, however, it's definitely above average. I can't comment on the story since this novel is just starting, however, there's great potential.
A contract with devil on making girls fall in love with yourself. Not bad. Like the concept. Great work author, would like to delve more deeper to get more info on this guy and his journey. Especially since he is an introvert.
As the author of this book, I will really appreciate if people who are reading this book, add this to their library. It really helps out a small creator like me. 🍀

The writing is great but can be awkward at times, however, it's definitely above average. I can't comment on the story since this novel is just starting, however, there's great potential.
A contract with devil on making girls fall in love with yourself. Not bad. Like the concept. Great work author, would like to delve more deeper to get more info on this guy and his journey. Especially since he is an introvert.
