Clarissa's eyes fluttered open and she got a brief glance of purple through her hazy vision before they closed again. 

She wondered when the roof turned purple. 

Then they opened again and she realized those were purple eyes not the roof. 

She shot up trying to get her bearings then her memories from before she'd blanked out came to her. 

Her heart doubled in fear and she tried to move back only to be stopped by Kieran's grip on her arm. She calmed down when she looked at him and it seemed he was normal. Perfectly fine like nothing had been wrong. Like he hadn't been deranged.
