Clarissa withdrew her swords while one of the warriors came to Tamara's aid. 

She turned to face Kieran and saw he had a smile on his lips. It somehow made him more handsome. 

She walked up to him. "How'd I do?"

"Well enough."

She scoffed. "Would it kill you to give a compliment?"

"It was a compliment."

Clarissa rolled her eyes and turned away from him to face Leonard. 

Hr had a look on his face that was barely relieved.

She smiled at him to assure him that she was fine. 

He nodded in reply. What he really wanted to do was to hug her. She had impressed him and scared the life out of him numerous times during that fight. But she did so well, so there was no need to panic. With that thought he calmed down

Clarissa had been hearing murmurs and she could feel eyes on her. She turned to face the others to see them staring at her strangely. 

Especially Tamara. 

What was going on?
