章 151: Chapter 52

"Kill him!"

Diving to the ground dozens of bullets soar above me, before I'm beset upon and executed the scratching of tires against sound and the roaring rev of a vehicle booms ahead, bursting through the circle of me, running over one too slow to get out of the way, a familiar Jeep skids over to me.

The back seat pops open and Fawn screams, "Get in, now!"

With Vertigo's men quick to pick up their fire I don't need to be told twice. Leaping in the back, barely getting climbing in fully, Fawn hits the gas and we're starting away in a snap. 

"Get after them! Don't let him escape!" Vertigo roars as we zoom past, his men scrambling around him, running toward vehicles I see for the first time as Fawn bumps and soars over heaps of elevated sand.
