章 78: Chapter Seventy-Eight

No, it isn't over.

Letharguy's men waste no time to reload their weapon, all the while Rez and I panic.

"What do we do?" He screams, swollen eyes expanding best as they can he stares at me with desperation.

Right, I'm the fucking meta here.

But I haven't a single clue what to do and time is of the essence. Time. Time!

Feeling ridiculous, my hand squeezes the wheel. All I have to do is pause. That's all.

Except the distance between our enemies and myself is far too large for my powers to cover. If I try to charge them I'll be made into cheese. 

So I'm left with one option.

Gently, my feet squeeze the pedals, revving the Jeep for the do or die plan I've formulated.

"What are you doing?" Rez asks, but there's no time left to answer him, to explain my brilliance or madness.

Letharguy's men are done reloading. He takes aim with the launcher.
