{In the back-room of the restaurant — Quarter to One PM}

"He's a natural player" Daniel blurted out, peeping at the 'lovey-dovey' couple from the back-door wall, referring to Edgar.

"He should be bound by laws" a frail voice interrupted Daniel's peaceful peeping.

"What the-?" he staggered behind, when he saw a brunette head clutching at the wall and peeking from beside him.

"Oh, Hello" Lilith greeted the stanger with an unfazed look. "I'm Lilith Brown. And you are one of Edgar's friend?" she asked back and quickly resumed her peeking before getting an answer from him.

"You must be his friend, considering you call him so informally" Daniel finally spoke, recovering from his shock at seeing the unwanted guest.

"Hmm... Yes, I am" she replied, not sparing a look at him "so who are you?"
