When I had returned to the Agency to give my mission report, I wasn't expecting the Blond God to be chatting with Laura, "So beautiful, wanna come to my place?" I heard him flirt as Laura looked unamused.
"No, I've got work to do. Speaking of, hello Nate." Laura said, smiling at me causing Apollo to turn to me. "Yo Laura, Lord Apollo? What brings you here of all places?" I asked as Apollo smirks.
"I wanted to check this place out, not bad for a bunch of mortals. I also wanted to see who ran into my Lil sis up close, I can definitely you certainly look the part." Apollo said, "Well, thanks for the compliment but I have some pressing matters to attend to, first is this." I said as I handed my report to Laura as she handed me an envelope carrying my quest money.
I had questioned where they got it but apparently Government officials know about the supernatural world and are sponsoring this place, apparently I'm a big factor to their pay since I do the most missions.
"Yes, well I'm sure you can listen to my offer." Apollo said as I immediately go on edge, a God's offer is as good as trash without reassurance. I know more than enough stories about their tricks.
"I'll listen to it, but don't expect to a yes." I said as he looks nonplussed at my reaction, "Great! Now let's go somewhere private, any place in mind?" He asks, Labyrinth is a no, apartment is a no, so hotel room it is.
"Theres a hotel not far from here, we can talk there." I say as we walk there in silence. Once there we get a room and I lock the door, taking a seat on a couch. The place was a single room with two couches facing each other with a tv on the wall.
Apollo sits across from me as his cheery attitude turns serious, "As you might know I'm the God of Prophecy," He says as I frown, "Due to this I receive many glimpses of the future, plenty bad and plenty good. But none are permeant, they always shift and change."
I nod, filing this for later in case other gods like him can do the same, "When I saw you I had seen many of your futures," He pauses as I hold my breath, "It almost made he blast you right then and there."
Oh shit, what the hell did I do? "But I didn't, because every time I kill you in the future, someone worse comes. And while you're good now, you change later." He said. When I die huh? Is the person who comes later the new Gamer?
"The only future I saw that will ensure my families safety is one I hate most, I won't give details but for you to go down this path I need to give you my blessing." The fuck? No, like the fuck? Apparently my mouth slipped and said the same thing.
"It may seem unbelievable but here, I swear on the styx that I haven't lied since we entered the hotel room, nor will I in your presence." And boom, another one uses the styx as a lie detector. Is that the only method people know?
"So, my future is filled with shit huh?" I joked as he cracked a smile before dropping it, "Yes, but thats why I'm here. I've only seen two people like you, where their future changes so much." Wow, two? Maybe they were Gamers.
"About the blessing, what will that entail?" I ask, I'm not gonna be a slave. "It will give you a affinity to most of my domains, such as music and healing." That, sounds way to good to be true.
"What's the catch? You're not lying about what the blessing will give me but what do you really want? Saving the future is nice, but surely you need me to do something?" I ask, blessing or not he needs me to do something to trigger the changes.
"I'll send you some quests to do, other wise do what you do. Now, do you want it or not." I guess? The agency's quests aren't helping much anymore and I also need better methods of training my stats as to grow faster.
"Yes, I accept the blessing." I say as he holds out his hand and a orb escapes it and slams into me, the system giving me an alert as I ignore to pay attention to him. "Boom, expect a quest in a week or so, Kay? Bye."
And with that, I now work with a god, or is it work for? 'I hate this already, why am I always forced into rushed situations?' I think as I look at the notification that had popped up earlier. Woah.

'Dear god is that difference empowering.' I thought, but will this make training harder or easier? I flip to the spatial magic chapter in my elemental magic book and find the gravity manipulation spell.
It took too much mana since my control was garbage but not with this,
[Skills: Magical:
Spatial Magic (Minor): Control over space and its concepts. All spatial manipulation skills mana cost are lowered by 9%.
Rank: Epic
Level: 9 (Xp: 875/900)]
It makes it possible. It took a while to get it up this high but by applying the recall enchantment to mine and Magnus' sword and my spares had apparently gave me plenty of levels.
I read the spell over a few times before I stand tall and hold my hands out to one of the vases on the kitchen counter. I take my mana and change it to the not so familiar spacey feel I get when making the recall enchantment.
I did that for a few seconds before I send my mana to the vase as I hear the table creek as if under stress. I hold it there for a bit before I realize I don't need my hands pointing at it.

'Well, if this is right than for every second I manipulate gravity I get 1 Xp. And I can hold it for a little over 3 minutes, and will increase with each level I get. It also gives spatial magic 0.5 every second.
'Alright, back to the apartment to workout with Magnus replenishing my mana and stamina, or I could just drink the miracle water he made.' I thought as basically raided the hotel room for things like towels and soap, along with bottled waters.
'Alright stats, here I come.'

No
No redoes, nothing. I hope you understand that right when I go to post results I get blasted by notifications and have to fix things to make sure I didn't count them yet. Bye.
Hot damn you guys are relentless! Really, first the vote on my last book and now this? It was close, close as hell but here you go. Sorry if it wasn't what you wanted but here,
Yes: 62
No: 64
Holy shit dude, it was such an even split almost the entire time which is an achievement in it's self. I love that you guys stated what you wanted without pause and I hope that you continue to read despite it may not be harem.
"Erg, Magnus, heal." I grunted out as Magnus quickly replenished my mana and stamina and I continue working out. I was using gravity manipulation to make the weights heavier along with myself so it was burning my mana supply like a drunk with a free tab.
In my opinion it was totally worth it though, especially after only 5 days of labor.
[Skills: Magical:

Nice right? Look at this,
[Skills: Magical: Spatial Magic:
Gravity Manipulation: Control over gravity, Can multiply/divide gravity by 2.75x. Decreases cost by 50%. Can now affect area of 4ft by 4ft.
Cost: 305 per minute

'Truly remarkable, I love this.' I thought while I continue to bench press as Magnus is drinking the miracle water to replenish his lost mana, which he used to replenish mine. It's a cycle that is quite useful as he trains his healing affinity and I train my stats along with my own affinities.
And thanks to spatial magic reducing the base cost for gravity manipulation by 39%, which makes it 305 base, and gravity manipulation cutting that in half, I only use 152.5 mana every minute!
I also regen around 30 something mana so 152.5 turns to 120 or something close to that which makes Magnus only have to replenish every 15 minutes or so, which allows him to do a few sets in between each replenish.
Once my mana gets bigger I can make a constant increase on my gravity as to grow while doing mundane things like walking or reading. Speaking of stats, Magnus' and I's stats have grown marginally.

Man is being a Demi-God op, He'd be way closer to my stats had I not been blessed. Speaking of that, I had been learning with Magnus on healing magic and it was quite strange to be using a magic I had recently sucked at.
I had also tried light magic which was interesting as it was basically photokinesis. I had also tried singing to relax from grinding. It was a nice experience, something I plan on doing a lot given the chance.
I still had around two days before this supposed quest is given to me by Apollo so I've been training to get my stats up, my magic looking amazing with two boosts. Speaking of quests Magnus had completed his selected ones and more as to do C-ranks.
I had contemplated on taking him on a quest together before I shook my head, if anything I'll be taking him with me for Apollo's quest which will hopefully give me a lot of Xp. Another thing I've been training is sword fighting with Magnus.
He wasn't a natural sword fighter but his godly genes made him a formidable opponent, I had received a few levels in that with Magnus growing nicely.
"Alright, Magnus I'm done. Your turn." I said as I finished my set and got up, Magnus taking my place after I wiped the seat. I had learned how to transfer energy, unlike Magnus who replenishes it by spending a set amount, which is truly broken.
We did this for a few hours before taking breaks, Magnus going out to do more missions with my staying home to study more magic, specifically time magic. I wanted to learn it since my mana is over 2000 and I have 100% control over it.
I tried a spell, slow down a object, on a pen and immediately I see and feel my mana drop to 1600. I watch as when I drop it, it moves at a slower pace.

'So it works like spatial magic in regards to Xp gain. I like that.' I thought as I continued to use the spell on multiple objects, pens and empty miracle water bottles which I drank to replenish mana.
After multiple hours of doing this I go to bed, thinking about the quest that will be given to me.
'It shouldn't be to bad, right? I jinxed it, fuck.'

Bam, the chapter feels bad but I put it out to show the difference gravity magic does. Showing his and Magnus' growth. So tell me despite knowing the answer of it being bad.
Was it Good?
Was it Bad?
